Great location, very good room
Our room was large with a balcony, nice bathroom with a bidet. It was clean and perfect for what we needed...If noise bothers you, ask for a room away from the street, but if the action is what you want the balcony is wonderful for people watching...2 euros fee for the safe, but what is piece of mind worth? We loved the breakfast, everything was fresh, the ham and bread was superb... the staff was helpful...perfect for night before the cruise, in the action!

Short walk from hotel
The restaurants were all within 10 min walk...get recommendations, as all food is not created equally...went to several places and 2 out of 3 were good (we did not get recommendations)...forget the names...the market was great, you can get good food there.

great location but inside is old
The location is perfect. Right on Las Ramblas, steps away from the Metro, and very close to AeroBus which was a great way to get to the airport. The staff was helpful and friendly and they spoke English, which was a plus since almost anywhere else in the city they don't. We expected the rooms to be small since that is European standards, so there was no surprise there. Our room was in the back of the hotel so it was very quiet at night. What we were surprise to see was a very ancient hairdryer which was very weak. Also, we were not aware that in-room safe, which was also out-dated, would be an additional charge. But it was only 2 euros a night, so it wasn't a big deal. The bed was pretty hard and not to our liking. All in all, I don't believe this is a 4 star hotel, but more like a 2-3 star instead. We paid more for a room here than in Madrid, which the hotel was superb.

Hyvällä paikallla
Muuten ei mitää nokankoputtamista, mutta kadulta tuleva meteli oli mieletön. Ja vaikka oli korvatulpat niin nukkuminen välillä varsin haastavaa.
