They need to upgrade their breakfast quality in the sense of cooking their bacon and eggs better. To raw. Coffee refills need to happen more often. You should not have to get up and get your own coffee at the end of the dining room area.

Amazing stay!
Although a little hesitant to begin with, I was utterly shocked with how amazing the stay was. I had stayed at ME Cabo & Madrid before so had very high expectations. The pool is fabulous, not too crowded - I loved the sun loungers and the set up. The room was very comforting, we booked a sea view which had some really cool views of the pool area and the city. The staff are incredible, especially Daniel and Ana, very helpful with all requests. The location is great, about 15 minutes to the centre (Ramblas) on the metro, which is about a 5 minute walk away. Nearby there is an area called Pobleneau, it has cute little cafes. It's more of an authentic area as you see a lot of local people living and working around here. Overall, it really exceeded my expectations and would definitely return.

Starting with the hotel location is a bit far from the old town - where most of the sight seeing, attraction, and shopping is- ( 45 min walk, around 6 euro by taxi). Breakfast was good. The pool setting was average.

25th wedding anniversary treat
We really enjoyed out time at the ME Barcelona. There was a relaxed feel from the staff but they were attentive and quick to respond to our requests. The room was high quality and stylish and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the 18th floor over Barcelona was stunning and I could have stayed another few days for sure! The location is a little out of the way but the tram and buses go from just over the road and we didn't mind the journey into the centre of the city which took about 8/10 minutes. The transport system is very efficient.

Hotel Me Barcelona
This hotel was overall worth the money and was very nice. However, our first night there, the hotel lost power from 3am until 1pm the next day. The elevators were down and we had to climb 17 flights of stairs to get to our room and then were stuck up there with no food, power, etc until 1pm the next day. The room was very small but managable. Concierge and the front desk staff were very friendly and accomodating. The breakfast buffet was not worth the money. Overall, a fine hotel for the money.

Definitely try renting a scooter if staying at this hotel. It is not in the most conveinent area of the city for the attractions, dining, and nightlife that you would want to visit. The scooter was easy to rent and saved a lot of money on taxi fares.

ME hotel
Power went out approx 10 times. Ceiling in the bathroom leaked. They said they would fix it, yet it leaked again. We had to switch rooms. Pool is melow and staff is slow. Water is too cold. Downstairs lobby bar had this horrific hotel music every night that made you want to go to sleep. Angels and Kings wasnt open until Thursday yet nobody was there. Hallways and elevators of the hotel were HOT HOT HOT. Staff was friendly yet not effective. Was about 10 min to beach and restaurants. That was the only plus. Would not stay ther again.
