Unwind at this snug hideout with charm aplenty and free Wi-Fi
The small and charming Caledonian sits right on the edge of Barcelona’s high-end Eixample district, a quick walk from the iconic Las Ramblas, the bustling Gothic Quarter and the upscale shops of Paseo de Gracia. Cozy rooms at the Caledonian come with complimentary Wi-Fi. For guests without their own laptops, the business center in the lobby has a computer with wireless Internet. Excellent assistance from staff.

Excellent assistance from staff. Welcomed even though hours late due to trains and it was after midnight. Small room but "in style". Was very happy for my short stay and would recommend this hotel to friends & family - already have done so!

Check in was delayed by half an

Check in was delayed by half an hour, we were one of three parties waiting to check in and rooms were not ready at 2:00pm. There is no iron available ... in room or in the hotel at all. This was very frustrating, as we were traveling on industry fares and need to look presentable while flying.

Room basic but clean, breakfast

Room basic but clean, breakfast not included so had to go elsewhere as it was €13.00 - expensive for a bowl of cornflakes! location very good. air conditioning didnt work when i was there and i was told to open the window! single room is tiny so beware!

Super Lage

Alt i alt: glimrende til prisen

En firedages kærestetur til Barcelona, var super vellykket, da hotellet lå centralt, var pænt og rent (måske en smule til den lidt kedelige og skrællede side). Men ikke desto mindre var alt indenfor gå-afstand. Vær dog opmærksom på at trods det, at hotellet lover internet, var vi kun sjældent heldige at have forbindelse nok til at kunne loade eksempelvis facebook. Morgenmads buffet på hotellet er et tilbud. Men vi valgte at tage morgenmaden på de utallige hyggelige caféer i nærheden. Og efter at have set buffeens udvalg og sammenlignet med caféernes priser og udvalg, var vi kun glade for at have taget den beslutning. Til gengæld blev vi udstyret med et stort badekar, hvilket er intet mindre end fantastisk efter lange sightseeing ture til bens i varmen.
