We (a group of 6) arrived early in the day & the front desk kindly made available one of our rooms so that we could leave luggage & change clothes etc. Front desk staff always extremely helpful & friendly whether it came to directions, restaurant reservations, booking of taxis etc. Rooms comfortable. Good location - close to the beach, Gothic Catherdal, & within close walking distance to Las Ramblas. One tip - if possible book a room on the top floors given that the subway line runs under the hotel. Overall a pretty good experience.

Pleasantly surprised
Hotel was wonderful, located a block from the waterfront and just a couple blocks down from the center of action. great restaurants right in the area, coffee shops right on the street including a Starbucks one block away with free wifi. Large comfortable room with several english news channels, large bathroom with a large shower. True value for the price!

Purchase the Barcelona open bus tours - these double decker buses go around the city completely and allow for easy on and off...buy a 2 day pass and avoid the wasted taxi fares and see the entire city and all of its attractions. These buses go everywhere you would want and they come by every 15 minutes...so no long waits.

Great value, awesome location
Hotel was in a great location, close to the waterfront, beach and Barri Gotic. My room was clean and modern. Much better value than another hotel I stayed in 3 blocks away. No wireless or internet in rooms.

Gutes zentrales Hotel
Kurzaufenthalt, Sightseeing, Essen: Das Hotel ist recht zentral und doch sehr nahe am Hafen gelegen. Zwar an einer recht befahrenen Strasse. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in den Innenhof: ruhig. Aber dafür sieht man von dort beinahe den Himmel nicht...

Bästa läge med bästa komfort
Fantastisk! Bodde i rum med egen terrass, rummet stort och fräscht. Frukost ok standard samt bar. Saknade dock en restaurang för att vara 4-stjärningt, men det finns många restauranger runt hörnet att välja på. Personalen trevlig och bemötandet med alla våra önskningar. Rekommenderar detta hotell för par som vill ha pulsen och närheten till det mesta runt hörnet. Ett riktigt cityhotell!

OK hotel, men ikke 4 stjerner værdig. På overfalden pænt værelse. Lille værelse. Vi havde bestilt dobbelt seng og fik twins. Ringe TV - næsten hellere undvære. Airconditionen havde sit eget liv. Minibaren virkede ikke og der var ingenting i den. Dejligt med regnvandsbruser, alm bruser og badekar til gengæld. Usikker service fra flere receptionister. Virkede ikke imødekommende og var ikke smilende. Var ikke særligt behjælpelige med at bestille bord på anden restaurant. Ingen information ved ankomst om hvorvidt morgenmaden var med i prisen. Det antog vi desværre og måtte betale 16 euro pr mand for en rigtig ringe buffet (kolde æg, kedeligt brød, gråt utilberedt bacon og gammel frugt). Ærgerligt når der er så mange gode billige restauranter med god solid morgenmad lige om hjørnet. Andre gæster blev "fanget" af samme mangel på info.

4 Sterne Hotel mit 3 Sterne Qualität
Allg. Eindruck: Man spürt die Krise Spaniens auch in diesem Hotel: In der Lobby wird abends kein Licht eingeschaltet, das Internet kostet € 2,00/h, am Zimmersafe wurde die Zahlenkombination durch ein Schloss ersetzt - und der Schlüssel zum Safe kostet nun € 2,00/T Zimmer: Das Design muss von einem Mann stammen: Zimmer u. Bad waren so dunkel, dass meine Frau eine Taschenlampe zum Schmicken benötigte. Der Fernseher sollte dringend ausgetauscht werden u. die Dusche muss repariert werden (Zimmer 301). Die geographische Lage ist excellent.

Bon rapport qualité / prix
Accueil sympathique et professionnel. Chambre confortable avec terrasse sur la rue Laietana au 6ème étage, très proche des ascenseurs mais correctement insonorisé alors peu de nuisances. Petit déjeuner copieux avec des produits régionaux comme la charcuterie ibérique, les fruits ... mais aussi de quoi se faire de bonnes tartines de beurre confiture ou des céréales ou encore des yaourths ... L'Hôtel est très bien situé pour partir en visites ou aller flanner en bord de mer, il présente un bon rapport qualité prix.
