Pre Cruise Stay
This is the perfect hotel for pre or post cruising. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the action in Old San Juan and a few steps away from the dock. The only couple of deficiencies I found about my stay are: First, a humidity odor in some the rooms is overwhelming. I dont think anyone can sleep with that smell! Fortunately, after asking for a change of rooms, I was inmediately transferred to one that was ok. And second, the elevators are too few and of an old generation, complicated and slow to use.

Great Hotel in Old San Jaun
The room was very nice and the whole hotel was very clean and well maintained. Everything you will need is in walking distance. The Chicago Hamburger Restaurant was nothing to write home about and the service on the patio at lunch was not very good at all.

Great location for old san juan
We stayed for one night and then moved on to a beach hotel. It was perfect for touring Old San Juan, seeing the forts and dinner and night life. That being said, we were glad to move on after one day in the city and see the beach.

Friendly Staff, Great Stay!
The first room we checked into had a horrible view, and the staff was quickly willing to honor our request to change rooms. We checked in with another couple who booked on a different site, and they got free breakfast vouchers for the entire stay which was something that booking through this site didn't include. The breakfast buffet was ok, but definitely not worth the price! Overall, the room was nice and the staff was very friendly.

Pre-Cruise Stay - Jan. 25, 2013
We were very pleased with our stay. We had great service. Enjoyed the view from the pool balcony looking out over the harbor and the city. Great place to stay for walking tours. First we did our own following the map to places we wanted to see, then we took a tour by horse and buggy. Our guide was very informed and very nice. She educated us on a lot of things we did not know and because of her knowledge we will on our next visit do some site seeing that we did not know about. Great place to stay to walk to your cruise ship! Would stay there again!

Take a horse and buggy tour both inside and outside of the city as they are too separate tours. But, you can combine both of them which we did.

Just what we needed
We had a wonderful 4 day stay in Old San Juan. Hotel It is right on the waterfront and close to everything. Staff is very helpful and there is a small casino on site. Old San Juan is very compact and can be seen in a full day or two. Many good restaurants everywhere you turn. Bacardi rum distillery is just across the harbor. Nice tour and 2 free drinks each. Go see El Morro the large fort..Spectacular views of the Atlantic and old San Juan. The locals are warm and friendly and very helpful. Just go and enjoy yourself.

Wonderful Trip
We were very happy with our stay at the Sheraton in Old San Juan. The room was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was fantastic. We could walk wherever we wanted to in the city or take the trolly for free to different locations. Many nearby restaurants and historical attractions. If you want to spend more time on the beach, then this is probably not for you. We were more interested in the history and shopping. We will be returning to San Juan and the Sheraton will be our choice to stay.
