Hola Grand Faro Luxury All Inclusive Resort Los Cabos

The service by all of the hotel employees was excellent. We would highly recomend this Hotel to anyone visiting Mexico...

A group of 20+ friends, myself and my fiance all headed to this hotel for a wedding of two of our friends. The bride to be was nervous about the resort, having committed to it without having ever seen it in person. However, I can say that this resort far exceeded all of our wildest expectations. Not just for the wedding itself, which was beautiful and well-coordinated. We were all having so much fun at the resort, we almost forgot about the wedding! The staff is unbelievable, attending to your every need faster than if the food and drinks weren't already included. They were incredibly friendly and helpful. Although not necessary, we did tip a few dollars here and there. The staff was just so good to us! My fiance and I have stayed at one other all-inclusive resort in Cozumel and the food was bland, repetitive and left us feeling a little ill after each meal. As a result, we had very low expectations for the Hola Grand Faro's all-inclusive food offering, but it exceeded all of our expectations. Our group chose the buffet options for the majority of our meals. The staff was quick to accommodate our large party without hesitation and the food was always delightful, with a wide variety of selections each day. The snack bar between two of the pools did serve the same thing every day, but it was a nice option to have between breakfast, cocktails and dinner. The layout of this resort is fantastic, with the pools in the center and the rooms surrounding the pool and facing out to the ocean. My fiance and I have stayed in some swanky hotels including the Ritz Carlton Maui and the Waldorf Astoria in Key West, and we felt this was pretty closely on par to both of those in spite of its older age. We did pay for an ocean view room and we could only see the pool, but we didn't spend that much time in our room anyways so it was not a big deal to us. The couple getting married did get an upgraded suite that did have a full ocean view and it was spectacular! My only regret about visiting the Hola Grand Faro is that we didn't get to stay longer! If my fiance and I return to Cabo (which is likely since its so close to LA), we will most definitely consider the Hola Grand Faro again. It's definitely a great option for the money.

My first impression of the hotel was that it didn't seem as over the top grandiose as other Mexican all inclusive hotels. It turns out that the hotel has much more to offer once you start exploring around. Having 5 separate pools worked nicely to find the right atmosphere for your mood. There were plenty of pool lounge chairs (and some hammocks as well). They have 2 great activities coordinators who try to get the guests involved in doing fun things, but are also very polite and leave people alone if they're not interested. The food was easily the best I've had at any all inclusive resort. My only complaint is that the bars seemed to close early. Some nights the skybar was closed all together, which meant the last bar would close at 11pm (that's too early).

Our group had a total of three rooms. All the rooms had a very nice ocean/pool view with balcony. The rooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly, from the front desk to the pool and the resturants. Entertainment was great. The food was very good and there was a great selection to choose from. The beach was nice and quiet and not over crowded. Taxi service into town was easy. Glass bottom boat tour was fun and inexpensive. The value of this trip was excellent.

This hotel is right on the beach and the view is beautiful. The pools are very nice and the rooms are nothing too fancy - but very clean and comfortable. The food was nothing special - but there is plenty of it and the restaurant overlooking the beach is a lovely setting. Breakfasts were the best meal of the day - very yummy actually. The gym was small, but did the trick. They were always blasting music at the bar area in the evening (not too late though). Seems like a good value if you are looking for an all inclusive hotel.

We were at Hola for 10 days ending March 12th. Had a great time and the food was great. Will go back again. We did tip well for the maid every morning ($5) and the room was cleaned very well. Cheers, Rob

There were four of us ladies that went on a girls long weekend. We had a great time, staff was very attentive, friendly, good food, the drinks were in small glasses which isn't all bad because they don't melt that way; just had to have more of them. The food was attractive and good tasting. Only minor thing we encountered was we didn't get clean laundered towels every day.

Having stayed at many different all-inclusive resorts in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta, I must say that Hola Grand Faro is not special, and I would not recommend it. Compared to other Mexican hotels, it seems inadequately staffed.

Two years ago we visited for the first time, we had a great time, that's the reason we chose your hotel for a second time. This time we were a bit disappointed of water temperature in the pools, the jacuzzi was TOO COLD, bathroom/showers need some work, the attention given by the restaurant/pool staff is FANTASTIC, your'e very lucky to have such great and dedicated staff.

64 of our closest family and friends arrived 08/11/11 for our daughter's 11/11/11 wedding. The facility was perfect for our needs. The staff were friendly and accomodating and we wanted for nothing (well, except bottled water which was not always available). Service was outstanding, food was 10/10. Proximity to San Jose was really great and transportation to Los Cabos was always readily available. Our entire group had a marvelous time and we would go back in an instant!
