Grand Palladium Riviera Maya All Inclusive Complex

I absolutely loved the place where we stayed. It was at the white sand hotel, and the grand palladium location is pretty much close to everything. Lots of activities around, and the staff were very friendly. The buffets were okay, but a little disappointing after a while.

We are just back from a 10 days stay in the Grand Palladium Riviera Maya Complex and all we don't have enough words to describe this amazing place. It is our second stay in this hotel and we were not dissapointed at all; everything was just as good as when we were there 3 years ago : still as great. Great staff, everyone was smiling and welcoming; Great beach and pool; Great spa and gym; Great surroundings in the middle of the tropical forest with loads of animals to see if you take your time walking around; Great food at the buffet and in the evening restaurants... Nothing to complain about; everything was just perfect and for sure we will come back again a third time. Thanks for free upgrade from standard room at Kantenah to suite at Colonial. Thanks to all the staff which was very helpfull and cheerfull.

One of the best trips ever, all of the staff at this resort were wonderful people who go above and beyond to meet your every need.. The pools were clean and beautiful...there were many buffets to choose from.. and fine restaurants. The entertainment was wonderful every single night..and non stop things to do..we will be planning to return there in the future...which will be our third trip back to this resort.

We just returned from a GREAT week celebrating some 30th birthdays! The Grand Palladium was absolutely gorgeous with fun always available. The staff was friendly and the entertainment left us in stitches MANY times a day. We are already talking about the next time we go, and we haven't been home for 24 hours yet! We loved being in the Riviera Maya, and would choose it over Cancun any day.

We had a great time. The staff there is great. They make the stay very peaceful at all times.

The resort is a beautiful place, and the beach was awesome. The only complaints we have is the food and cocktails were not so good. Also, some of the staff could have been friendlier. They did not seem to appreciate our tips as much as other experiences. Maybe because the place is so big, they didn't seem to use as quality a product as other places, and the service was lacking the intimacy.

The Royal suites section was beautiful! It was very quiet and relaxing, but when we got bored we went to the larger pool on the other side. Our only issue was that the beach was far, but they drove us there. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. The food was decent, El Jardin was the best. There was always something to do at night: disco tech, great shows (some were hilarious!) And the spa.. oh that spa.. was absolutely wonderful!

This was the third time my family visited this property. We keep returning because it is too good to take a chance on another property but this year was not as good as the first couple years. This year we booked two rooms and our friends booked two rooms. In previous years, the staff got to know my kids but this year the staff wasn't as helpful or friendly. Also, this year there were LOTS of spring break college kids from Spain who decided to have a parties in our building during the night. The most frustrating thing is at check in. We keep paying for White Sands and keep getting sent to the Riveria Complex, which is much more removed and requires lots of walking. This has happened two years now. Plus, we NEVER get connecting rooms. This is unacceptable!

This is a very nice place, that is well maintained, and very big, you will get lost. The beach could be in better condition for the area but we can't control what nature does. My only complaint about the staff, is at the buffets they don't have enough waiters for all of the guest, and you have to wait along time to get your drinks. There was always plenty to do if you wanted. Try the Segway tour it was worth it.

Overall, we had a good experience, or I wouldn't have given four stars. But there were some downsides, and I wouldn't recommend it for everyone. Here's the good: Amazing beach -- if you want a great beach, look no further. Yes, there are a few rocks in a few places, but otherwise it was amazing. Not too wide, and not too narrow, Protected bay with calm, clear water. You could snorkel right off the beach and see a decent variety of fish and other sea life. Very nice swimming pools -- especially "Las Rocas," the natural ocean fed pool. That was pretty special. Very cool jungle atmosphere -- walking around the property felt like a jungle adventure, and there were amazing birds and animals. The bad: Enormous property -- almost too big, and certainly not good for people who have problems walking or those with small children. The first few days were tough, until we figured out the shortcuts. But it deterred us from doing some stuff because it was just too far. So-so food -- What can I say? I'm sure if's fine for most people, but not if you're a "foodie" or looking for authentic Mexican cuisine. Some of it was downright disgusting. No connecting standard rooms -- you can only get connecting rooms with the more expensive suites, which is not great for folks like us. Staff was not very service oriented -- I could give numerous instances where they showed zero flexibility and often seemed amused by our needs.
