Awesome! Everything was more than expected and price was very reasonable!

The hotel was clean with great food and entertainment. We will definitely be back.

3 weddings a night says it all, location of hotel is not good and bad beach location makes the ocean almost impossible to enjoy, if you like clear blue water forget this location, the water is full of underwater plants. Cheap quality drinks and very bad food at the pool restaurant. Only one good restaurant and buffet. Will never go to this chain again.

It was a great family vacation we were 7 and had fun. Also, fun for couples. The resort is not small or large just right. The food and the staff were great at the Seaside Grill/Oceana restaurants. The staff are there to make you happy. Overall great vacation. Thanks to the staff... Ohh yeah spa was also wonderful !!

My husband and I just got back from a week at Dreams. The hotel was very clean and always being tended to. Our room was spacious and cool. Loved the ceiling fan! The food was amazing. We ate in Portofino twice. Ask for Edmundo or Jorge for great service. Food was fantastic. Food was also very good in the Oceana and Seaside Grills. Pool situation….while people do put their towels out on the lounge chairs very early and seem to be nowhere to be found, there are more than enough chairs and umbrellas for everyone. Can’t wait to go back. Truly a wonderful resort and vacation.

We stayed here for 5 days. We loved the rooms as they were very luxurious with jacuzzis and big showers. Turn down service was cute for setting the mood! The staff was very, very nice and made you feel welcome at all times. The food was great and lots to choose from. We ate at all the restaurants and our favorite was Bordeaux and El Patio for the food and atmosphere. The drinks were ok, but I stayed at Secrets Maroma before and they had higher quality alcohol and mixers. The beach was clean and the infinity pool was very fun. Easy to get a chair out on the beach, not so easy by the pools because people tend to leave their towels on them. Cabanas were almost impossible to come by. Overall we had a great time relaxing and taking in the sun at this resort.

Upon arrival, I dropped my bags off in my hotel room, grabbed some money from a bank envelope in my bag for tipping and went to meet friends at the pool. I returned 4 hours later to go to dinner. I went to retrieve more money for tips but there was no money, just the empty bank envelope in my bag. I filed a theft report for $150 with the head of hotel security. 3 hotel staff came into my to room search everything to ensure the money was not misplaced. The staff were rude and disrespectful, it was clear they didn’t believe me. I was told it would take 72 hours to complete an investigation. 72 hours came and went and I was not contacted. I asked to speak with a manager the evening of the 3rd day, who stated she had no way of knowing I actually had the money with me. I asked to speak to someone else and she said no, I needed to speak to her. The next morning I spoke to another manager who said the investigation was not complete and the hotel was not liable. I should be able to trust that hotel staff will not go through my personal belongings. I expected hotel management to treat me with respect and follow through on their actions. In the end the hotel did nothing to rectify or resolve the situation.

The resort is beautiful with outstanding suites. Be sure and get an ocean/pool view. Staff very accommodating, food good to great, drinks more than adequate. Plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas by pools but NO palapas or umbrellas on the beach. Only palapas are for those in the Preferred Club. Also beware of the promotion they are pushing for Unlimited Vacations Club. Would recommend this resort to a friend

I don't typically write reviews, but in this case I felt it was needed. The food is tremendous - Anyone that complains about the food must have one special pallet. The Japanese restaurant is fantastic, burgers out by pool are great, steaks at all the restaurants were basically 15 ounce filet’s cooked perfect. The drinks all premium brands – Great Tequila of course. Coffee place makes great drinks. Staff is excellent and tips aren't begged for like other places I have been too, but in this case they work hard and deserve it. It was a great week stay. My only complaint is people get out there and throw towels on every pool chair and never come out. The staff says give it 30 minutes and if they don’t come throw the towel off. I followed and always had a great seat. We paid extra and did the preferred Ocean View. We had probably the best room on the resort - I would recommend paying the extra for the view and "Preferred" lounge. We left our little guy at home, but the resort seems great for kids - Great pools for the little ones - I could see how maybe kids in the swim up bar portion of pool could aggrevate some folks but it didn't bother us

Just got back from Dream Riviera Maya. It was a wonderful resort. The rooms were awesome, I'd definitely recommend to have an ocean view. The set up is very nice with the infinity pool and the beach all right there.
