Villas Vallarta by Canto del Sol

The bus to downtown is in front of the hotel, perfect. The bus to Walmart, marina, Neueva Vallarta and airport is across the street, perfect. Very close to the walking/running track and exercise park, perfect. There is a large grocery store very close with wonderful fresh produce. Staff could not have been more accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful. Their omelets, fresh pastries, fresh fruit and orange juice with lots of pulp was perfect. Beach towels can be returned daily and replace with fresh ones. Bedding was changed daily. I cannot speak to the "all inclusive" as I had a studio apartment and had evey appliance I could wish for, eg. toaster, blender, fridge, 2 burner stove with ample cutlery, plates and glasses. Total sq. footage was 620 st. feet. More space than one could wish. Rooms were kept very clean and room staff would fold the towels in fancy shapes every day, a novel touch. Many channels on tv to choose from in a variety of languages. Initially had a unit on the main floor near a gym which was noisy. Two days later, I was moved to a corner unit on the second floor, with a big balcony and ocean view. This hotel was wonderful. Public transportation is so economical. I hope to return next year same time.

Very nice place close to the beach just 3 mins away, great customer service so I was pleased and relieve for not struggling.... Had a great time ....

Had an excellent time. Previous reviews were not good about security here. There were five us here and there were no problems. Would stay here again when the opportunity arises. We love PVR and will come again to visit.

This was our 6th time at Villas Vallarta and we noticed that they are giving less each time we come. We were frustrated that they don't even have coffee available in the mornings and that breakfast wasn't served outdoors.

Check in was very slow. Desk clerk new and had no athourity to make changes and had to phone for every request. They try to put you in the worst rooms first and then you need to be persistant to get a better room. When we first stayed here 8 years ago the place was jumping and fun. Over the years they removed all amenities and you have to access them at the sister hotel across the street. The staff other than the desk clerk try thier best to help . Coffee was not available this year. probablly last visit

friendly, clean, cold pool(the smaller one), great larger pool & bar!!! fabulous breakfast, awsome waiters!!!!!!! DON'T get any dental work done there, you'll be soorrrrryyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The decor of the rooms needed updating, but the rooms were spacious. The breakfast and staff were excellent. I would return to this hotel, just because of the staff.

We didn’t think it was possible for hotel workers in Mexico to have a poor attitude, but they do here. Watch out for the extra charges on check out. If you are missing a towel, or key-card, any of the registration documents, or even if you didn’t wash your dishes, they will charge you. Room was nice but a bit dilapidated.
