Now Amber Puerto Vallarta- All Inclusive

The location of this hotel is excellent, literally 10-15 minutes away from the airport, the maritime terminal (where you will be meeting for all your vallarta adventure tours). All the staff was excellent especially (BENNY AND ANTONIO THE BARTENDERS THAT WHERE IN THE PREFERRED CLUB BAR DURING MY STAY AS WELL AS VIOLETA THE PREFERRED CLUB CONCIERGE DURING MY STAY.)

awesome experience. Hotel is exceptionally clean, quiet and comfortable. Food is everywhere, available just about anytime. Concierge service is good although you can ask anyone. Taxi service at the ready on the doorstep. Lobby entertainment nightly in addition to the amphitheater shows that are also scheduled every night. Would def. go back in a snap.

Exceeded our expectations, loved it all,great service and food, loved sea glass hunting on the beach, our room was gorgeous, 14th floor overlooking the ocean our housekeeper Luz did a great job, even though our eating drinking and sleeping times changed constantly because of what we were doing or touring that day.Happy thanx to Nayely, Claudio, Beto, Carlos, Perla, Violetta and Jose(best waiter/ soccer player ever) for making our stay so enjoyable.Would reccomend this as a relaxing beautiful stay to anyone, If there was anything wrong it was to minor too remember.Go for a massage on massage row left at the bottom of the hotel , ask for Grace at Majestic. Awsome. Will be back to PV and the Amber.

I read some reviews but wasn't expecting too much. Too frequently the photos on resort websites are outdated and the real thing doesn't measure up. NOT THIS TIME! The resort is beautiful all the rooms have ocean views. We stayed within the preferred club at Now Amber and got a room on the second floor. We enjoyed our balcony jacuzi almost every night. Also the preferred bar is on the second floor and bartenders Beni (Benigno) and Inaki, treated us like favorites. My husband kept saying that Beni was like the grandfather he never had except that every time he saw you he offered you a drink. We were floored by the rooms decor and even more impressed by the turn-down service. Breakfast and lunch options are limited, we enjoyed the additional freedom of the preferred club buffet (especially after my sunburnt husband decided he was an invalid). The dinner options were fancy, Tamarindo, unexpectedly was our favorite. Delicious lamb. One negative, Himitsu doesn't have a house sake, so expect an additional charge. We used the sea kayaks, which are available free on the beach, it was fun to get out on the water. I danced at the night club where I was one of the few brave enough to step under the lights in an otherwise dimly lit place, but they got points for having hookah available. Overall, the service was amazing. Always a smile and some form of "my pleasure" greeted any request. The spa was pretty overpriced and the hotel coupons didn't offer much of a discount so we went down the hill to healing hands and got an hour long couples massage for forty-five bucks. Previously on vacation we made a point of getting into town and seeing sites but we enjoyed Amber so much we hardly walked outside the gate. When it was time to go Beni gave us both hugs and the porters got us a cab (100 pesos) to the airport. We definitely want to go back.

PV is a great locale with predictable weather. This was a very nice resort as far as room quality, service and amenities. The only drawback is that it is an all-inclusive where the food quality is average at best. Breakfast quality is very good but lunch and dinner offerings are subpar for the price charged. They do serve top shelf liquors.

We had a fabulous time. Everything about Now Amber was great - the food, the service, the room. We plan on going back again next year about the same time if we can get a comparable deal. We loved the activities and the daily schedules they provided. This resort and vacation was in the top 5 of all or our previous vacations.

We were pampered and treated with such kind care. It was as if we were influential. But they treated everyone there so graciously. This is indeed a property worth trying out. If all inclusives have dismayed, this one will delight!

I was expecting more from a brand new hotel. It was very nice just basic layout and pool.

Upon arrival we were met with a cool towel and a flute of sparkling wine, nice touch. The Preferred Club building is where we stayed. I had been in the hotel in october 2012 and stayed in the Jr Suite very nice, this time I choose the Master Suite Oceanfront it was amazing. Great views, pillow menu with a nice hot tub on the expansive balcony. This property offers 6 dining choices along with 24hr room service all providing top shelf liquor. The property is very clean and family friendly. All rooms have a view of the ocean to some degree. There is free wifi, free Mexico to USA or Canada phone calls from your room or iphone/smart phone, this was a big plus. No wrist bands and nightly entertainment. No shorts or swimwear allowed at dinner gentlemen bring dress pants and shirts with sleeves. Within the Preferred Club building they have an excellent concierge staff however Ms. Violeta is extremely efficient, she made our stay quite comfortable.

Almost perfect! I give an overall rating of 4.5 but would probably had given a 5 if we had taken the upgrade to Preferred. The service at this hotel is OUTSTANDING!!! Staff is always smiling and devoted to all guests. Now Amber and Secrets Vallarta are exactly the same hotel, they share facilities like restaurants, spa, theatre.. Even the staff is going from one side to another. The only difference is that Secrets welcomes adults only. Probably the best beach in "old" Puerto Vallarta
