Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta

I thought this hotel was very elegant, clean, quiet and located only minutes away from the airport. The only thing to be aware of is the pushy staff that tries to convince you to purchase time share. May is the perfect time to visit Puerta Vallarta because it's not too busy and the weather is absolutely beautiful.

This was one of our best vacations! They are very helpful and everything is so clean! Very nice place to stay!

It has a drop dead beautiful lobby. The staff was friendly on check in. The room was cleaned well each day. The pool and beach area is kept clean. The waiter and bar staff are excellent around the pool and beach. The beach bar grill has really good food. Avoid the main restaurant food has it is mediocre at best. We always go into old town for dinner as it has some great restaurants. Go next door to the bakery or down to Starbucks for your morning lift off. The beach chairs are not very comfortable but they do have plenty of outdoor chairs with seat cushions to sit in.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. We enjoyed aftenoons at the pool. Patricia Sandnez took care of us at the pool. We hope she is there when we go back. Every day with a smile! For the price, the hotel should have free Wi-Fi. Great location.

I had an excellent experience. The setting was perfect. You could relax on the beach and then enjoy the sights and scenes of the nearby town. I would recommend this hotel to couples and people with children.

The Fiesta Americana is a timeless hotel. You would never know it's age, based on the beautiful rooms, grounds and public spaces. Walking into the giant Palapa lobby is always a joy.

We love this hotel, have stayed there several times. Great pool and right on the beach. Staff is excellent.

We travelled on a family vacation with my middle-aged siblings and partners and found this hotel excellent for our age group. Although there were families with children (and we love our grandchildren), it's a perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing vacation, even during spring break which could have been hectic. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms lovely and staff extremely helpful. We'd recommend this hotel for seniors for these reasons.

Beautiful hotel. Everyone was very nice and accomodating. Service was excellent on all fronts from the waiters/waitresses to the front desk folks. In our room however (on the second floor not far from the elevator) The sink would make these odd gurgling noises from time to time which made it hard to sleep. That and the college kids there on spring break, yelling at the top of their lungs at all hours of the night. But the kids weren't the hotels fault. I would probably stay there again albeit further away from the elevator and not in the same room due to the sink noises.

It would be difficult to criticize any aspect of the hotel itself. The view over the bay, which all rooms have, is hard to beat. The staff ranging from the desk to the maids to the waiters at the beach cafe are all friendly and top-notch in providing service. The rooms and the lobby area are attractive and clean beyond belief. So what's my problem? The nearby area has a night club that is open until 6 AM. If one opens the doors to the balcony and bay to sleep to the washing of waves, forget it. You treated to "thump thump thump" from bass and drums throughout the night. This is not the hotel's doing, and it is well aware of many complaints. One can only hope that the noise will be stifled in the near future by an ordinance or by other means. Even with the doors closed you still have a duller thump. If such type of noise bothers you, take a white noise machine as a precaution.
