Dreams Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa-All Inclusive

I liked the reception by the staff when we checked in. They offered cool, fresh smelling towels to wipe the stress & sweat of a long travel day away. Nice private beach which is completely raked out every morning. No silly wristbands. Many restaurant choices. Good variety of tasty menu items. Room service was great. Local vendors allowed on site were friendly and not pushy. Close to town but still secluded. Friendly, helpful staff. The only thing that slightly annoyed me was that one of the pools close to our room location was constantly being closed due to wedding receptions. Free wifi would be a good addition in the future.

Great staff, wonderful food, and the grounds are beautiful. The beds since our last visit were much improved. The following are some shortfalls that keep this very good resort from being great. Only one ice machine for entire bldg. No plastic liners for room ice bucket. Very, very limited selection of beer. So many restrictions for the use of the hotel coupons they're basically worthless. No bottled water for the pool/beach area. Called room service twice, we were told both times they didn't have the item.

We just returned from Dreams after an 8-day stay and it was everything we'd hoped for. The room was good. The view was spectacular. The staff were fantastic. We would definitely come back. After reading reviews from other travelers, we opted not to upgrade to the room with the balcony since all rooms have a sliding door and an ocean view. We weren't disappointed. However, we paid $60 for Wi-fi for the week, which we later learned was included with a Preferred Tower room. That might have offset part of the cost for us, but they didn't explain it in those terms. If you end up purchasing Wi-fi, do it through the website with your credit card. You will pay an extra $10 if you purchase it through the hotel gift shop. We stayed in room 1507 with a king-size bed. It was neat and clean. It had a musty smell that is pretty typical of beach hotels, especially older ones. It wasn't that bad, and we didn't even notice it after a couple of days. I was very happy with the size of the room... plenty of space to more around. It had a "living room" area that was great when we ordered room service. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and seemed genuinely happy. Guadalupe kept our room very clean. Our mini-bar was kept stocked. The even took notice to what items we were using (Coronas and bottled waters), and left extras above the fridge. The bellhops were helpful and quick to get your bags where they needed to go, or to get you a taxi. The bartenders, especially Orlando at the beach bar, were happy to recommend drink or make whatever you asked for. The entertainment team (Oscar, Freddie, etc.) were always busy making sure that everyone was having fun, and staying informed about the activities that were available for their enjoyment. My wife and I made this trip alone, to celebrate our anniversary. But, we would definitely consider bringing the family back in the future. It looked like the kids were all having a blast. Thanks to the Dreams Team for showing us a great time, and for your wonderful hospitality.

There are other resorts that strive to impress but Dreams in PVR is simply impressive on every level. On this recent trip we joined an ever growing community-those who return and will do so again

The staff was Excellent - sensitive to our every need!! I would HIGHLY recommend staying with Dreams Puerto Vallarta!! We had a wonderful time with them from start to finish. The food was really tasty & cooked to perfection! The wait staff & bartenders did an excellent job of making sure that we were never in want of anything. I will be coming back to stay with them for longer than 5 days next time!! If you have the opportunity to go & stay with Dreams - you won't be disappointed!!

The whole experience was one of pure luxury. Very friendly staff who catered to our every need. Would definitely love to return.

We just spent a week at Dreams Puerto Vallarta and would definitlely stay there again. Our room was in the older building. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet, and the view was spectacular. The beach is beautiful. We swam, kayaked, and boogie boarded. The food was good. You don't need to make reservations which makes eating very convenient. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Town is about a 5-10 minute cab ride and the airport 35 minutes away. Bring bug spray because there are a few mosquitoes. The resort is very family friendly and fun for couples too.

We had a blast. The hotel and restaurants were all superb. The best part about this location was the staff though. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will be returning at some point.

We will go back and might well make a yearly winter break. I was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease and have to avoid all foods gluten in them. The first dinning hostess we spoke to immediately asked for dietary restrictions. My partner advised them of my issue. I wasn't going to mention it. Moments later I was approached by the captain waiter and a chief who advised I had nothing to worry about they would ensure my meals were gluten free. It did matter which restaurant we chose for a meal my status was known and prepared for. I was treated like a king. Amazing! Outstanding!

Stayed March 2013 for 5 days. This was a great stay for our family...myself, wife and 11 year old daughter. Lots of kid friendly activities, staff was great. Food was good, my daughter loved the Ice Cream in the buffet. We had no problems and no complaints.
