From the very beginning the hotel service was atrocious.The next day, my wife's birthday we had an issue with security as someone stole some of my wife's items from within the room while we were out to dinner. Apparently they do not lock the community doors that are attached on both sides of the room to the rooms next door. When we learned that our doors were not locked and that we had some items missing we reported this to security. Security and the hotel services were disputing our claim from the onset. It took them one hour from our initial call to even send someone to check on the doors. They put us in a different room without community doors but that was the extent of their assistance in this matter. The stolen items were never reimbursed, we lost more than a day in dealing with this matter, filing police reports etc., and they never even apologized for the incident basically insuing that we were making the whole story up. We felt unsafe in this hotel and were dissapointed in the staff and service. We do not recommend this hotel.

If you are looking for a room dated 1960's, come in and have a good time. Asked for fresh towel, got it after 4 hours of calling. Most staff dont talk english, beach is rocky and not much water activity. Food is ok but not great.

I have been to Mexico 2 times once @Temptation in Cancun & another time @ RIU santa fe in Cabo .both resorts were 3 stars .in comparison to those this can't be rated more than 1 star,please don't waste your money

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY... This resort was rated at 3.9 and advertised as a 4 star hotel, but in my opinion it was a 1 star resort. Honestly, I can't think of a single positive thing to say about the resort. Bad food, bad service, and the rooms were like motel rooms. This was the worst all inclusive resort I've ever been to.

All you can hear is banging on the walls and people screaming at each other! The room was GROSS, the bathroom was even worse! Nothing was even close to clean! DO NOT NOT NOT STAY HERE!!! The foods in the restaurants & buffet were gross with bad quality and quantity, and we couldn't even eat any of them. The worst quality that you can find in anything is there! . Not a nice beach or pool either. Their drinks were not even known names! This hotel is not a hotel in my opinion! It is a motel with a bad quality buffet! I wish I could get my money back, I will try to stop on my credit card charge! 3.5 star hotel with 3.9 rating is misadvertising!

1- Hotel restaurant was closed due to the construction and only one was available for the whole resort. 2- Noisy rooms at night due to the construction. 3- No wireless internet was available although it is advertised. 4- Extremely cheap food was provided at the restaurant. This caused health issues for my partner. 5- Long lines and long waiting for the restaurant due to high number of people and only one restaurant available. 6- Broken safe in the room. So I had to carry my passport and money with me all the time. 7- Extremely dirty bathroom and toilet. No regular room service was provided. 8- I had to change two rooms because of the construction. 9- Extreme pressure to sell timeshare at the hotel. 10- Low quality of drinks at the bar although it is advertised otherwise. 11- Unsafe environment due to entering the local sale people and their pressure to sell. 12- Unavailability of facilities such as gym and tennis court and pressure to sell private instruction in order to use the court. 13 Finally and the worse: bugs in the bed which caused us skin issues.

The room was not great; maid service almost non existent; the safe didn't work; could not lock the patio door most times. Didn't feel that we could leave any valuables in our room. Every time we went to leave, we were hounded about a timeshare. Would be nice to have assistance in booking excursions without the pressure of attending a time share. We went on a 5 night vacation; however, our plane had maintenance problems; the airline put us up in a hotel in Dallas and was willing to allow us one extra day if the resort was willing; however, they were not. They were very rude when I contacted them from our hotel. Customer service was not very good; however, we managed to enjoy our trip anyway. The pool was good and the food was not bad but our room was not the greatest and the bathroom didn't appear to be very clean. They also did not have very good entertainment.

Room was clean and bed was fairly comfortable. Good location to have an easy walk to downtown Vallarta. Buffet food was not good, salty and very americanized. The bar drinks were sweet and in order to get a regular strength drink had to ask for a double. Staff was very polite and eager to please.

Our first impression was very good. the lobby is very nice. We had booked an oceanview room and were told that the hotel had not received that information so we were put in a room with a view of a gym and an alley! The next day however we were moved to a much nicer room with an oceanview. We checked out the buffet on our first night and were not impressed at all. Everything tastes the same there some gray coloured meat with white sauce on it some fettucini noodles with mushrooms and bolgna in it(not kidding) and it was pretty much the same every night.We had three ala carte meals while we were there and they were much better but far from excellent.There is a lobby bar which is very laid back, mostly people sitting in there on their laptops(its one of the only places that has wifi)There is also an outside bar. the bartenders were boring, not really friendly but the waitstaff was really good especially Raphael and Jorge.The alcohol is pretty low quality no bottled beer only draft on tap,and no premium liqour. The bar shuts down at 12:00 and there is no mini bar in the rooms,also no fridge or coffee maker. The hotel doesn't have an ice machine so you have to take your ice bucket to bar. Everyone who works at the concierge desk is trying to sell timeshares and they don't like to take no for an answer. There's only one pool with one side for kids only but there are a lot of kids splashing around the adult pool. You have to get down there really early in the morning if you want a lounge chair. The beach area is small and the vendors/ vultures are all over you and they really don't like to take no for an answer. so if you want to relax, forget it. I think this is probably a good place for people with little kids. One of the good aspects of this place is the location. You can walk to the Malecon in about 15 minutes and its a $5.00 cab ride to most of the clubs downtown

Most of the staff were very good, the front desk, at times, were not very friendly or were not inclined to help with issues. The food was awful 3 of 5 days. Thank God we ate out 2 nights at area restaurants and the food was excellent. The sales rep for time share were deceiving in their presentations. Overall experience was not good. Wedding at Las Caletas Island was awesome....
