Great all inclusive resort!

The Riu Santa Fe was amazing! The hotel offers entertainment shows every night, the staff was friendly, and the resort was large. I highly recommend and plan to revisit the Riu Santa Fe for my next Cabo visit.

Lots of Students

This hotel is nice, its clean, in a great location, has super nice staff working for them that bend over backwards to help. There are two issues I see that you should be aware of. 1. The food is adequate, the best meal for me was the breakfast, reliable and good. The lunch and dinner were subpar for a Riu resort. There is ample quantity of food, but the quality is poor. Flavorless, and overall not that great. 2. The College Students - even when its not break there are flights from Canada with 1000's of students that descend on the property and drink till they are sick. We all like to have a good time, but it gets a little much. Summary - depending on what your looking for, if you want a relaxing vacation, stay at the Riu Palace or another hotel, if you want to party with tattooed 20 something's then this is your place. PS - no LGBT at this hotel -FYI

Average hotel

The experience was great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food was great. Rooms need to have an update. Not enough light. Very dark rooms. Bed is uncomfortable. The location is very good and beautiful. I would not go back to this hotel but definitely will go back to Cabo.

Food is bland, room was dirty

When we arrived to our newly checked in room, it was completely dirty and the bed was not made-not a good sign. In my opinion the food was not edible. Not to mention I saw a cockroach in one of he buffets.

Excellent Vacation Destination

My children and I were so pleased with this hotel! We stayed at the Melia Cabo Real last year and really liked it, but the location and the quality of this hotel is so much better! The food is excellent, the activities are great (they make it really fun to lounge at the pool all day long), they even had a show with great singing and dancing every evening. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated and everything was in excellent condition. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, but that is probably pretty standard for hotel rooms. We are planning to come back again next year!

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

We had so much fun walking along the beach and meeting all the local merchants selling their beautiful jewelry, pottery, dresses, hats, bags, and other crafts. The prices are excellent (bring small bills as they do not make change for $USD) and their goods will be treasured reminders of your trip when you return home!

Great family getaway!

Hotel is well maintained and beautiful. Stayed at building 7 with gorgeous ocean view. Food is average meaning there is something for everyone there. Thought the Steakhouse restaurant was pretty good but didn't care for Asian restaurant. Excellent tacos and burritos outside the main Buffett at night. We transferred over to Riu Palace to compare difference and really missed the outstanding service from Santa Fe. Will definitely come back to Santa Fe. Only complaint was cold weather at night unrelated to hotel.

Dining tip: In Hotel

Enjoyed dining at tortoro restaurant the most since it was in building 7. The main buffet and a la carte restaurants are closer to building 2. Didn't mind the long walk but windy and cold at night. Need jacket.
