Villa Rolandi Thalasso Spa Gourmet and Beach Club - Adults Oriented

We only have wonderful feelings and thoughts towards Villa Rollandi on Isla Mejueres. The room was beautiful. We stayed in a deluxe junior suite. All of the rooms have an ocean view. The restaurant setting is spectacular. Jorge was the best sever at breakfast. The first day we got a very young tall fellow who seemed in quite a rush but when he saw we were taking our time he lost interest in getting us in and out. Also they offer you a fruit plate, then a bread basket then either waffles or French toast (depending on the alternate day) this is included in the American breakfast and is before your actual hot ordered breakfast arrives. This is noted on the menu bit not explained so the first day we had no idea what was going on until we overheard Jorge explaining to other guests. The housekeeping are wonderful. Their customer service is second to none. Even though there is a language barrier they smile and help you. Our room was cleaning to an immaculate level daily and turned down nightly with fresh towels. Make sure to tip them well, even if you dont see them like you do the servers or bus boys they are an integral part of you being comforable in a hotel. We rented a hold cart from the hotel. It is cheaper than in town realistically by the time you get ther and back in a taxi 78 pesos each way rounded off to 100 pesos with tip. This have us the freedom to try some authentic Mexican food in town. This is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at overseas in the 15 years we have traveled frequently. It is authentic in Mexico and not westernised. It upholds a fabulous level of hospitality. We will return and recommend to all.

This was my second stay at Rolandi and it was just as good and relaxing like I remembered. This is not a party place. If you want quiet, no kids acting like next cast of the Jersey Shore, this is the spot. The place is like a ghost town at night, and very intimate. People who stay here are truly unwinding. I recommend this place if people need a stress reliever. Just booked my third trip just now. Food is way better than those all inclusive spots IMO. Drinks prices are very fare. It's a no brainier if you live on the east coast. 4hrs and your there.

PERFECT! WE WERE UPGRADED TO A MASTER SUITE FOR NO REASON.

The hotel was very clean and upscale in comparison to other hotels on the island. The European flavor was impeccable. The hotel staff were very professional and personable. Not many visitors during our week and no children were a plus. The free breakfasts each morning were a delight!!! Definitely recommend visiting again!

What ever I asked for or assistance requested, I was giving the best of service. The entire staff was helpful and accomodating. The staff was great. The facility was top notch and very well maintained.

This was our third visit to Villa Rolandi, and we fall in love with it more each time. The location is beautiful, the food is fantastic, and the service is absolutely the best.

The hotel, rooms, bed, furniture etc., are very average and there is nothing fancy.. But there are two things that make this ordinary hotel feel like an extra-ordinary one.... The staff are absolutely wonderful... You get so much personal attention and care. We were vegetarians, though the restaurant in the hotel did not have many veggie items in their menu, the chefs personally gave us options and made some absolutely delicious meals for us... We are totally satisfied with the service and it just can't get any better. The second thing is their small private beach and the beach front restaurant. Morning breakfast on the beach side with some delicious preperations... Its just bliss... If the motto of your trip is theme parks and adventure then stay back in cancun... If you want to relax in a serene atmosphere with a lot of privacy and experience pure bliss they definitely stay at villa rolandi in isla mujeres.

Villa Rolandi is a perfect place. A perfect, quiet location. not near town, which is what we we looking for. The food was outstanding. Even better, the service can't be compared to anything we have experienced in Mexico. Everyone was genuinely nice, and willing to help us with our every need. Including breakfast at 4:30am, and a taxi waiting for us. The yacht transferring us from cancun to the hotel and back was a nice touch too. Honestly, It doesn't get much more relaxing than tis place. If you are looking for something TOTALLY relaxing, this is it!

We had a nice experience at this hotel. The facility is well run and the staff is professional. Hilario, who works in the cozy bar is a great guy and makes a wonderful margarita. Views are great from all the rooms. Pools and beach are nice too. We spent a peaceful and relaxing day in the spa. Anna is a special lady and good at her job, she gave me a lovely facial and massage.
