Allegro Cozumel - All Inclusive

$20.00 cab ride to town, a bit much (15.00 ea way plus tip) great otherwise, food ok. It's mexico......

The staff went above and beyond to help set up the wedding for my son. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. I liked the layout of the resort, but thought that having only one location for lunch meant a lot of walking. I thought that the resort should have scheduled vans taking people downtown because the distance was so great. I have been at other resorts that took patrons on shopping trips, and to "club" trips due to the distance to the downtown area.

A+mazing service! super clean property! if you are not a fan of geckos, ask for a downstairs room since the upstairs rooms have straw roofs (i did and they switched my room right away without any problems). make sure you meet[...] (main waiter) - he makes your dinner time extra special (great personality with an unbelievable sense of humor...he knows how to put a smile on everybody's face).even though the mattress was very very very firm, i'd stay at this hotel again!

We stayed near the Adult Pool/Bar or were on the beach and near the beach bar. The beach and water were amazing. Try the free snorkeling and kayaking. I know it is All-Inclusive, but bring some tip money. The staff works their butts off and a dollar or two goes a long way at the bars!

The Allegro is a pretty nice place for the $. I Have stayed at better places but have also paid alot more. The staff is super friendly and the grounds r well kept. It is a little older place so everything is not tip top but that was fine with me. The food was average but I would recomend pepto b4 every meal as it can come back to haunt you or just dine out more the value is still good. Although I didn't have any with me this is an excellent place for kids, nice kiddy pool and lots of activities. All and all I would definatly go back, a must for divers no matter where you stay in Coz.

they moved us to the occidental grand because the allegro was over booked. we had a great time. my wife wanted to go to town more but that cost about $20 dollars. so we did the time share thing as got a jeep for the day for $50 dollars. had a nice time driving around the island.

This resort is awesome! The food is incredible, you will never go hungry! The dining rooms are impecible and you will receive 1st Class service all the way. The beach is clean and they comb it every night. The water is as clear and blue as you've ever seen and you can snorkel right from the beach and see amazing fish. The location is perfect so you can easily get to any activity you want. I went parasailing, banana boat, catamaran ride to snorkel corel reefs, they give scuba lessons, I visited gorgeous parks....All your activities can be planned right from the hotel, it' awesome!! Bring plenty of film!!!!! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the security is fantastic. I felt so safe! I overheard several people say that this was the best all inclusive they had ever been to!

I called and wrote the hotel in advance and asked very nicely for a room away from the noise that other travelers warned about. So why was I placed right in front of the continuing fog horn/water splashing/screaming that was the kiddie park? I asked - nicely again - to please be moved and was offered a room directly across the way on the other side of the kiddie park! Later a staff member told me that my "bracelet" was a different color than other guests because that indicated I'd booked through an agency and because of that I wasn't going to get the same level of service. Nice, huh? I was also within perfect earshot of all the loud nightly entertainment so my sleep schedule was essentially dictated to me. Furthermore, the walls truly are paper thin and I heard every single conversation from the adjoining room including a lengthy intimate incident and a midnight search for some personal items I'd rather not have heard about. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway or to honeymooners who are not exhibitionists!

Enjoyed teh bunglo style rooms. Fun and easy to get to know your neighbors. Great place for younger children. The ocean/beach is amazing! Never spent so much time in the ocean. Great bar service. Clean rooms, they were just small. 2 double beds with your child sleeping right next to you doesn't make for great sleeping. Small bathrooms. Nice balconies with hamocks. Very accomading staff. Food was a little below average, but basically your run of the mill buffet. Breakfast was good. The family seemed to enjoy lunch, but dinner, not always sure what you were eating. But you could find enough to satisfy you. Fun to see all the Crabs and Iguanas around the resort. Overall Great stay!

We stayed at the resort for a week. During our stay the staff was very helpful and involved in making it a wonderful experience. The beach on the resort was too amazing to describe. The daily activities offered were as fun to watch as they were to participate in. During our stay the onsite dive shop changed, but both were top notch. The food was good, though there were limited selections for breakfast and lunch. The A La Carta restaurants were fantastic. The resort is far from town so its quiet, but close enough for a short taxi ride.
