The Westin Resort and Spa Cancun

Pretty nice hotel. Very comfort and nice beach. 4 Restaurants were good and food was awesome. Good place to say. Just make sure you get the Top floor to get a nice view of the Lagoon and the Beach.

Quiet, convenient, and a quality facility. Great staff. Royal Beach Club is the way to go.

I liked the location - far from the maddening crowd. The pools were magnificent, and the white sandy beach was gorgeous. However, all these were upstaged by the room. First the telephone did not work - how can we call room service and housekeeping. It took them 36 hours to fix it. The cooler was locked! how can we use the stuff? The second day, no tea bags - and for all these, I contacted the concierge of the Beach Club, and the Front Desk personnel. I knew to mentioned these at the get go. It was very disappointing for a Westin Hotel. At the restaurants - there was poor service - very slow! - not enough staff I might say. The Lady Concierge was not helpful, until the second one arrived - We were late because of a delayed flight and so 15 minutes before 7pm we were to meet Manuel of Grayline and all she said was "They are different companies" and they usually stay outside! - There is no one there now." Did she offer to help? NOOOO! untilt he next lady came - reported for work. I asked if there was a way for us to call the Grayline tours. She was most accommodating. Efren, the Front Desk person was most accommodating - very knowledgeable and friendly. He should be cloned! a thousand times and distributed to all the areas of the hotel. That is how important he was to our experience at the Westin!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend and loved the Royal Beach Club. Very private and quiet. Excellent value.

We liked the uniqueness of this hotel- it's nicely decorated and it seems like all the rooms are just a little bit different. We liked that they provided multiple bottles of water in our room each day, free wifi in the lobby, and a helpful/knowledgeable staff. The location has it's pluses and negatives. Pluses: far from the parties, on a quieter section of the beach, and close to a national park that makes for great snorkeling. Negatives: longer bus rides into town. It also sits on a a big hill that you have to walk up and down each time you leave the hotel. We also felt that although our room was air conditioned, it was constantly damp. Made it a little hard to sleep at night and out swimming suits/wet clothes would never dry, even hanging up overnight. There also wasn't a fridge in our room. This was annoying because the hotel food is ridiculously pricey (as expected) but there's no where to keep your groceries cold if you want to go that route. There are plenty of really nice pools and of course, lots to do between going downtown, excursions to isla mujeres, snorkeling, scuba, boat tours/rides, jet ski, parasailing, etc. Also- get ready to be offered "an exclusive opportunity" to listen to a 2 hour schpeal on buying a timeshare.

It's a nice hotel with a quiet location & not far from the attraction area. One thing I did not like was the Internet in the room; it was so slow & I have to go to the balcony to get a good signal. But overall everything was nice, I really liked the breakfast open buffet & the the staff were very friendly.

The hotel is very nice! It's just a bit further down from the tourist area but it was really nice and the hotel staff was great. I received some of the best customer service I had received!

OMG!! Where do i Start! Location was Perfect! Away from the Hustle n bustle of main strip.. Hotel is Beautiful! The spa was Amazing!!! But The staff topped it off!! Favorite Hotel so far in mexico!

It was good. The people there were nice and friendly. The lobby was really cold but overall it was ok.

Enjoyed my stay at the Westin resort. When we arrived we were offered an upgrade to an Oceanview room and breakfast for an extra 60.00 per night, stayed 4 nights. I'm happy we did it, the views from the balcony are stunning, we were on the 5th floor, there was a constant breeze which I totally enjoyed. Room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was the best with a wide selection to choose from, lots of fruit and hot items. It was our first time in Cancun and I will definitely go back and stay at the Westin. The hotel is big with lots of pools and entertainment for families traveling with children. You can dine outside and enjoy the ocean. Loved the buffet selection at the Sea and Stone restaurant, lots to choose from. We had a great time and would highly recommend. Quiet and relaxing! Please be aware of timeshare offers.
