Secrets The Vine Cancun - Adults Only All Inclusive

Great hotel. Would go again. food in the restaurants on the 12th floor was amazing. Buffet for breakfast had good mexican food. 4 pools, lots of chairs, great staff, etc. I have been to Secrets Silversands, and this one, the Vine, and will be checking out Merona next. I have been to Couples and Breezes resorts, and prefer Secrets. Very nice.

I have been to a few other all-inlcusives, but this one was the best so far. The beach location is fantastic and the blue water is crystal clear. One of the nicest beaches I've visited. We upgraded to Preferred Level, but not totally convinced it was worth it. We did enjoy the Preferred Pool area and high end liquor in the Preferred Lounge, but that's about it. The preferred lounge had the same snacks every day....only dessert items for some reason. Would have been nice to have some cheese, crackers, etc. Don't know why they didn't offer anything other than desserts. The meals in the restaurants were very good considering this was an all-inclusive. Dragons and Blue Water Grill were the best. The italian place was just ok. The Sea Salt grill by the pool was delicious. The fitness room is large and has plenty of equipment. Unfortunately it is also EXTREMELY hot in there by the treadmills (which are by the windows/hot sun). Tough to get a good run in without feeling like I was going to keel over from heat stroke. Service overall was very good but spotty at times. The room was clean and contemporary. The bathroom area was nice, but a little awkward in that everything is glass. So, if you have to use the bathroom, it's best to turn up the TV or do it when you're significant other is not there since they will likely hear everything. haha. Overall, a great vacation. I'd recommend this place to others, but personally I'll be trying another property on my next visit since I like variety and there are plenty of good options in Cancun/Riviera Maya.

Secrets The Vine is a beautiful hotel. They have 4 top notch restaurants as well as many smaller restaurants and buffets. The staff is incredible friendly and helpful and has amazing beachfront access and views.

Resort was very clean, the food can always be better but ok. The staff is outstanding and will go out of their way to please. Hotel is beautiful . Can't go wrong .

Loved Secrets! My first time to Cancun, but have traveled in Mexico for business. My wife had been to Cancun before and was totally impressed with the resort. We upgraded to the Preffered Junior Sweet with view and it was a great room, contemporary, clean and funtional. The access to the preffered level lounge was a very nice touch. All the meals in the restaurants were very good, room service breakfast left a little to be desired, but was nice never the less. We did the powerboat jungle tour and snorkeling and also ziplining out at Sevatica and all of these were great. The beach is really fun here with some big waves. We were always able to get chairs at the pools and the drinks were good and plentiful. We would go back to Secrets The Vine in a heartbeat.

Book your stay, don't wait. Don't let the short review fool you but my wife and I are very picky and have been traveling to Cancun for 8 years now. This is definitely the best value for a pristine resort and a great pick if you are looking for a perfect All Inclusive getaway in Cancun. Great food, drinks, ambiance, cleanliness, service, nicely decorated and designed and location close to airport and downtown Cancun.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left everyone was super nice and helpful. The place is immaculate and food is AMAZING!!! Everything is super clean and the pictures are totally accurate. I will never stay anywhere else in Cancun.

Just returned from a week-long trip with my boyfriend, & here were our thoughts: Pros: The staff (including the cleaning crew!) - truly what makes this place great The breakfast buffet - made-to-order omelettes & smoothies, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and pretty much anything else your little heart desires The Asian restaurant, Dragons - the coconut-encrusted grouper was phenomenal The coconut ice cream at Sea Salt Grille The Newlywed Game show The gym - brand new Lifefitness treadmills that overlook the ocean! None of the restaurants required reservations, so you could have dinner wherever and whenever you wanted Our minibar was restocked every day with all our favorite drinks Cons: The room service selection was kind of lacking, and the steak was kind of disappointing They only carried six different types of beer, which we got a little tired of drinking all week They only served four different types of free wine; you had to pay for all the rest (none of which were cheap!). It would have been nice if they had offered a wine-of-the-day each day to keep things interesting. Umbrellas were in short supply, and if you didn't get to the pool early enough, they were often all taken People woke up at 6:00 every morning to claim their cabanas, and many of them didn't return until three or four hours later! Secrets requests that cabanas not be held for any longer than 30 minutes, but I didn't see that this was ever enforced while we were there. Dragons was closed the final night we were there, which we never discovered the reason for We never got around to breaking our big bills for tipping money until the second night we were there, which definitely impacted the poolside service we received (kind of unfortunate considering tips are SUPPOSED to be included...# Entertainment is hit and miss: - We nearly missed the tequila tasting because it was held in a different location than what was listed on our entertainment guide, and it didn't seem like the cocktail class even ran at all - Most of the nightly entertainment was geared for the older set - we watched longingly at all the rooftop concerts Hard Rock was hosting and kinda wished we had stayed there by the end of the week - It started to feel like Groundhog Day by the end of the week, as the morning entertainment is identical every single day. It would have been nice if there was more variety offered throughout the week. - I thought non-motorized watersports were supposed to be included in our trip price, but I didn't see anyone doing them Even the discounted spa services are prohibitively expensive We would also highly recommend swimming with dolphins on Isla Mujeres - pictures are a huge rip-off, though #$50 per person!)!

From the first steps on to the last there wasn't anything that could have mad it a better experience. We did not step foot off of the resort as we had no desire to. The staff was over the top in there service & attitude. I am a clean freak & the place was spotless!!!

We decided to take a girls trip here and had an amazing time! Staff was very friendly and catered to your every need. They really take care of you here. Brought us drinks at the ppol, beach, cabanas, you name it. They have a ton of activities to do not only during the day but at night too. Definitely a couples resort but we met so many great people. Be sure to read all of the dress ocde requirements as they definitely adhere to them (for men). No shorts or tank tops in most. Overall a great time, my ONLY complaint is that they do true to pressure you a little in buying a timeshare, other Secrets resorts, etc. but definitely would tell anyone to satay here.
