Sandos Cancun Luxury Resort - All Inclusive

Last minute weekend vacation. Loved the Resort. Great pools and water temperature. Not overly crowded, plenty of chairs around pool and on beach. Service by Jonathan and Enrique around pools was great. Beach is nice white sand with crystal clear blue ocean, no beach shoes needed. Food was awesome. Lobster and shrimp cooked near the pool daily along with burgers/meats/chicken/pasta. Pizza oven also. Cold beers and variety of good alcohol for mixed drinks, not just cheap brands. Great cleaning staff, turned down beds nightly. Loved Our Experience!!!

We celebrated our honeymoon at Sandos and we loved every minute of it. The resort is gorgeous but the staff is what makes this place the best. They were simply amazing. We can't wait to go back.

This hotel is in a nice location. The hotel itself is well kept and the staff is friendly and attends to your needs. The food is descent, however, the outsides restaurant food was greasy. The chicken wings, fingers and steak looked as if it was just dipped in oil. The phones in the room need to be upgraded, it's old, discolored and has static. Wen you call the front desk you can barely hear them. The wifi is free and does not work. We were on the 5th floor and did not get any service. It works well in the lobby and pool area. When we called to complain the front desk said, "wait until tomorrow". Bar one is a nice well kept bar. You can either have your drinks there or take them to go. There is a door in the back that leads you to a nice relaxing outdoor scene overlooking the ocean. They have tables and hammocks, it is really nice at sunset and at night. What really annoyed me was what the bartenders do. The hotel advertises top shelf liquor but when we went to the bar and ordered grey goose the bartender said, "not included in red band", but ill give you a drink". This is there way of assuming a tip. This made me feel like every time I had a vodka they were doing me a favor. Don't get me wrong i always leave a tip but this just annoyed me. Even after I asked the front desk, they said its included after speaking to a reservation manager. Wen I went back to the bar the bartender had the nerve to say, " thanks for complaining". I ordered another grey goose, and he said, it's not included but the manager said for you it's OK. Meanwhile the manager said everything is included. I just left. The hotel should have staff that work by the pool to get drinks.

We stayed at this resort for 4 nights. The property is beyond beautiful, the pool areas and private beach areas are kept clean and they have cool features like these hanging beds with ocean view. The staff is very friendly and the service is very good.The food selection was good for an all inclusive, lots of seafood dishes, fresh fruit etc, grilled lobster was def my favorite! However items on some menus you could tell had been cooked a few hours before they were served. Overall I would highly recommend this resort and would gladly stay here again.

Our stay at the Sandos Cancun was outstanding. The room was very comfortable with a great view. The restaurant buffet at breakfast & lunch had many selections and the outdoor grill by the pool was a favorite of everyone. The staff was great! We never waited long for anything, drinks, food, etc, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The three pools were warm, clean and large. The water volleyball was a lot of fun. We were close to the bus line so could do some "exploring"; the busses were clean, safe, and ran frequently. I used the fitness center every day; it was well maintained and the equipment of good quality, not junk just for show. Several times during our stay managers inquired if our stay was up to our expectations and it was. I look forward to staying at this resort again next year.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful resort! We've been to some all-inclusive hotels where food and drinks were just acceptable (or even poor) so our expectations were not so high. But in Sandos hotel they do deliver a five stars eating and beverages. The food is excellent in every restaurant: Zango: great morning and evening buffet and fine cuisine à la carte for lunches. I really suggest to go few times for lunch in Zangos, you will definitely enjoy the food! Hibatchi: Japanese style restaurant with really fresh food and great chef show just in front of you - it might be a little hot but definitely worth it. St.Trop: conveniently located in the pool area with good selection of grilled meat and seafood. All the meal in every restaurant is really delicious! BarOne: wide variety of drinks for every taste and nice music! The beach is fine white sand, no rocks, no weeds and water is very clear. The stuff of Sandos is amazing: everybody is friendly, carrying, ready and available to help. A big thanks to our favourites: Miguel ( who provided a great room service); Ricardo, Maurisio, Miguel and Alfonso ( nice entertainment team ); Alexander, Irving, ( waiters in Zango who were so attentive to us and they served us great breakfast every morning with delicious fresh juices ) and Marcus ( another great waiter from Zango ), Diana, Daniel, Erick... I do not remember all names, but again the Sandos' team is amazing! We also enjoyed a Penthouse champagne party on , which the management team organized during one of the evening for Sandos' guests! What a great idea! The only minor problem was the poor Wi-Fi strength in the room. That's the only drawback I can think of out of our 10 days stay. It was our best Caribbean vacations, definitely 5 stars resort! Bravo Sandos team!

The hotel was very nice and the staff was accommodating and friendly. We had the all inclusive package and they were definitely NOT stingy with the frequency or quality of their food and drink service. Overall it was a great experience.

This is my 4th trip to Cancun. Don't be fooled by its size, it has all the amenities that you would find in a much larger resort and is conveniently located between Aqua World and Fashion Mall. The quality of food and blended fruit drinks were excellent (wish I could say the same for the mixed drinks where artificial substitutes were used instead of fresh/frozen ingredients). Sandos falls short of the 5 star rating due to a couple of minor issues that could be easily addressed. The first being inconsistent. Out of 7 days, we've received 5 news letters (for the following day), 3 turn-down services, and 6 mini-bar refills. In-room menus are inaccurate for the 4 restaurants. Although the staff is friendly and accommodating, they're unapologetic for any inconvenience they cause (not sure if it's a language thing since I speak very little Spanish). Wait staff needs to be more attentive and provide faster service. Kudos to all the chefs, bar-tenders, bell-hops, and receptionists (at the restaurants). Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Sandos hotel was a great place to stay in Cancun. The staff was very friendly and the accommodations were top notch. I really enjoyed my week there!
