Action-packed family resort in Cancun with beachfront setting
The six-story, U-shaped Marriott CasaMagna Resort Cancun welcomes families with a supervised club for children and complimentary family activities. Pleasant Stay
Stayed at hotel for just 1 night. Staff was very pleasant and my wife and I were pleasantly surprised when they let us use a room to take a quick shower after we killed 5 hours after checking out and before our airport pick up. Definitely would go back to the Marriott in the future.

Excellent View of the Beach
The Marriott Casa Magna is a lovely resort hotel. The room was well appointed and comfortable. We up graded to an ocean front which had a wonderful view of the ocean and beach. However, the room did not have a coffee maker which was something we would have expected. Also, WI-FI was $5 for 10 minutes which is unbelievable.

In Hotel
Do not eat at Chanpions Restaurant which is just outside of the hotel. Though their were few dinners, the service was terrible and the food worse. the burger tasted like processed meat and the pork sandwich was dry. The wine we ordered at $10 a glass was so bad we sent it back.

Enjoy Being Catered To
Paradise in Paradise
This was our 3rd stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The suite room is spacious and bright. The pool is fantastic, or if you prefer, you can head to the beach and pick out your palapa. Either way, the staff will take care of your every need. New this year, massages at poolside. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, fronting on a white-sand beach. The gym is nicely appointed, the Gift Shop is SO much more than that and can provide your meals all day long. Be sure to try the Conchas! There are 2 things I would like to see changed; The menu at the pool and for Room Service. The food counter in the Gift Shop has a better, healthier selection of food, salads and drinks. The ice machines also need attention. Last year I seem to remember not having a functioning ice machine on our floor. This year we were in the south wing, the first floor to have a working ice machine was the 4th. When I inquired at the Front Desk I was told they were waiting for parts...From the US. All-in-all, for the price, you won't find a better hotel.

Be sure to try Savio's at La Dolce Vita. It's just across the street, and serves some of the most delicious Italian food we've ever had. Outdoor dining on the back deck, overlooking the bay, is sensational. Don't skip dessert, the Chocolate Mousse and the Strawberries with fresh Zabaglione (made table side) are out of this world!

Nice Hotel as long as its not at capacity
Hotel is quite nice, however, the pool is extremely small. Most chairs gone by 9:00 a.m. It was not built to handle a hotel with as many rooms as the Casa Magna offers. Currency exchange was difficult as the hotel only had a limited supply of cash to exchange. Gym was nice but small

great mother daughter gettaway in the sun
great hotel - great value we stayed 4 nites (one nite free) and enjoyed the $50 a day hotel credit. A terrific value as we were able to use the credit at the JW marriott as welll as the Casa Magna.

Great Vacations
Despite of the weather, we had a great time. The only thing we would like to comment is that the Kids Program is not so attractive for older kids.

Good Value for stay!
It is good and suggest you to go! 1. Room It is big and confortable. The only bad is that there is no Toothbrush and Toothpaste. 2. Breakfast It is really good that we have a special offer that we have USD 50 back for everyday. So this price is enough for my wife and me to enjoy the breakfast (USD 25 Per person) 3. Lunch and Dinner There are Champion and Mariko in the restore. Also we can enjoy Fred's House and McDonald's near the hotel. 4. 7-Eleven it is really near the hotel and you can buy something enjoy. Because the minibar in the hotel is expensive. 5. Sea It is really good place to enjoy the sea. This hotel have good location to enjoy the sea. 6. Lake It provide the good swimming pool and also have a small hot water lake. It is really amazing!! If you have more question, please contact me^_^

Traveling Hajja
Great place to stay!!!
Traveling amidst all the glitz and hype of resort places in the Zona Hotelera region can be a bit overwhelming for those of us that want to enjoy comfort, class and the beautiful white sides of beach front hotels... Our 5 day stay at this Marriott was heavenly...the ambiance was elegant and subdued, the staff very accommodating and friendly. We traveled with our kids and they had a blast!!!

In order to capitalize on your stay in Cancun, best to rent a car -- it will be cheaper in the long run and you can explore more of the city -- outside of the Hotel Zone area. For the real taste of local Cancun life, drive to the center of town and wander around!!!
