ME Cancun - All Inclusive - Adults Oriented

My husband and I was very unhappy with this trip we chose for our vacation.My experience with CT when I tried to change my airline reservation for an earlier flight. I was told I had to pay an additional $400 to change to non-stop flight so I would be able to travel with the other couple we were vacationing with. I asked for the change without being billed the additional cost of the flight and was denied. The other couple we travelled with did receive this promotion from another agency at no additional cost so I knew that it was something Cheap tickets could have done as a courtesy being I have been a loyal customer for the past 8 years. All my trips have been booked through you and I felt betrayed as a loyal customer. The most discouraging thing was the hotel. This hotel is nothing like the promotion of it, the service is lousy, there are no activities or services offered to the couples. I was billed for 2 bottled waters at $14.00 at check out and was not informed of the price until then. They do not offer 24 hour room service as they advertise. You are billed at very high rates for items that are not included in your package. You are constantly harassed by staff to purchase time shares and to go on excursions. There is absolutely no games or activities offered to guest. My husband and I made the best of a bad experience. No one at the hotel explains to you what amenities are offered to you at the time of check in, they do not offer any activities or services to occupy your time. At check in they try to get you to upgrade your stay to a premium package without explaining to you the difference of what you have and what's in the upgrade.

The perfect destination if you like sun, sand and beach. The hotel is beautifully situated on the unbelievably blue Caribbean. If you're not a beach person then you have a choice of two pristine and beautifully designed pools. The wait staff is attentive to your every need whether in the hotel, at the pool or on the beach.

Had a wonderful experiecne at the ME- the room was nice and comfortable, the shower was amazing. The food at Salt and Silk was excellent for dinner, the BEachhouse was wonderful for lunch, and dinner at the Grill one evening was quite good as well. Salt was the best restaurant, in my experience. The location is ideal- had a nie 1.5 hour walk from the hotel to the end of Hotel Zone and back. Beautiful white sand, there was plenty of beaech and pool seats available. Would definitely stay there again. Just be mindful of little upsells that can add up.

Just the hallways are noisy because of the echo but is a very nice hotel and the staff is very kind

The staff was friendly and took care of everything imaginable. However, friends who sprung for the VIP floor had it much better, as they had their own concierge. While not necessary during the stay, having a personal concierge does make the stay much more enjoyable, as it is difficult to get reservations at Silk, one of the resort's main restaurants. The room was clean and well organized. The toiletries provided were top notch. The rain shower was great.

It was beautiful but not enough light. Our room with 2 beds wasn't ready so we had to wait all day... when we finally got our room, it had only one bed. They moved us to a very loud room and it was hard to sleep. The system with having to sign for your drinks/food every time slows things down. Cleaning lady didn't show up. Beautiful view of the ocean, food was delicious.... it just didn't seem the staff were completely on board with making it as perfect as it should be. The owners have invested a lot into making it high class - beautiful decor, food etc. but the staff just don't seem to support it. Of course we managed to have fun, but next time will go elsewhere.

Overall the hotel was beautiful. Check in was a breeze and there were people waiting to explain the all inclusive package and give you a tour. the rooms were pretty standard but well maintained. The pool and beaches were beautiful however the pool area was shaded from the sun by 3pm and the beach by 4pm. The staff was absolutely fantastic. If you go find Carlos Jimez on the beach. He was wonderful, providing chairs, towels, and even pillows every day. We did not want for anything... before I could order a drink or water I had one sitting beside me. At night go to the Rose Bar and find Wilberth Garcia. I was constantly switching my drink and he could come up with some really great tasting ones I would never have thought of. One suggestion is to make reservations for dinner either before you go or the day you arrive. Salt and Silk resturaunts fill up fast.

ME was a great place for a bachelorette party. The hotel was very nice, clean, trendy, and the staff was great (particularly Carlos who worked the pool and beach). We stayed for three days and hardly left the resort but it worked out well. Although it was mainly couples and some groups, we weren't looking for a Vegas experience so it worked out. The food wasn't the best but pretty good for an all inclusive resort.
