Winter getaway
Our room faced the road and the rear of another hotel. It was very noisy. I'd pay for an ocean view. Food was just ok and expensive. The pools and beach were great. Hotel staff were very good. There are life guards on the beach and I witnessed them rescue two swimmers. I was very impressed.

Escape from Boston winter
Very nice!
We really enjoyed our stay. The large, sandy beach was fabulous for younger kids because of its protected location. The kids were able to snorkel and find sand dollars and see some fish. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean and was simple and clean. We often ate at the hotel Grill and the food was fresh and good (not five star, but that is not what we expected!). Frankly, the hotel and its staff were lovely, it was an uncomplicated, relaxing vacation. Our only negative was that our first couple of nights, we had very loud neighbors and there was a noisy band playing several places down on the beach on and off.

Best Week Ever!
I was a little concerned after reading the reviews but wow what an amazing stay! The rooms weren't the prettiest rooms ever but they were perfect for us and we weren't in them much anyways. Even though we didn't pay for an ocean view we still got a little bit of one. There definitely is a bit of noise from the a/c in adjoining hotels but it didn't bug me. The staff there were so polite and although we didn't have to ask for much they would always be quick to help. The food was so good! The tuna at the Grill was probably my favorite meal ever. Drinks at the lounge were great, buffet at the O was great and the only reason I could imagine why people would complain is it's not all the high carbohydrate cheap food a lot of people are used to eating. All the seating around the hotel were super comfy. This hotel was nice and quiet, mostly older couples and a few couples with kids. We're early 30's but we like it quiet and relaxing and that's what the Hyatt gave us. Sun every day with the best beach around and even at night a staff member stood watch so we could take a quick walk on the beach. The bottled water on the sink side is free and they refilled it twice a day and more if you ask. They exchange American and Canadian at the front desk which is great. The food was a little pricey but good enough that when we return to the Hyatt we will pay the extra for all inclusive if we can. Thank-you to all the amazing staff for our above expectations stay!

We tried quiet a few of the little mexican/ Taquito restaurants and stands and liked all of them. There is one just a couple blocks from the hotel at the front of the market and behind a tourist stand. They make fresh fruit juice too. That was my favourite. Best restaurant in Cancun IMO was Natura! If you walked from the hotel past cocobongo, Carlos n Charlies you'll see an OXXO ahead and its right beside there. Amazing food! Ate there five times!

GREAT LOCATION
TOOK MY MOM FOR HER 50TH BIRTHDAY. LOCATION IS PERFECT, WE GOT TO DO SO MANY THINGS AROUND. DO NOT BUY EXCURTIONS AT THE HOTEL. WALK OUT SIDE MAKE LEFT U WILL SEE INFORMACION BOOTH, BARGAN WITH THOSE GUYS :) EVERYTHING IS 50% LESS THAN IN HOTEL. FOOD WAS GOOD. BEECH IS VERY NICE.HO TEL NEEDS TO BE UPDATED. LOUD NOISE COMES FROM THE STREET . BUT WE WERE OK WITH IT

Located at the north end of the strip, the resort in conveniently located within easy walking distance of convenience stores, super markets, restaurants, and car rental agencies, among others. The city bus stop (8.5 peso, or about USD$0.75) is only 1.5 blocks away. The indoor recreational facilities are quite good. The pools and beach areas are excellent.

wonderful mexican vacation
Great hotel in the best location on the strip.The matching cash deal offered by the hotel for food and services is a great deal. The room was clean and comfortable with great oceanside views. I Will stay here again. Every experience I had on my week long stay at this hotel was a good one.

Excellent Stay
The Hyatt Regency is definitely a super choice for cancun with its brilliant location, excellent staff and great deals. Really made me want to consider extending for a much longer time.
