Located a few steps away from the main avenues. Plaza Kokai is conveniently located at residential areas in downtown. Located only 10 minutes away from the beach and 25 minutes away from the airport.
The hotel has 2 bar (El Camarote and El Nauti) and 1 Restaurant (Los Balcones).

Scary Hotel- Avoid at all costs
This hotel was horrible. There is a band that plays below all the rooms until 2am every night. The beds were harder than wooden planks. No refrigerator, cable tv, or safe provided. Pictures are very misleading.

I arrived late at night to find that they did not have my booking and the hotel was completely booked out. The woman at reception kept looking after everyone else instead of helping me because it was obviously too difficult for her and much easier to hand out keys to other people, so that I felt like I was invisible. It was probably the worst staff service I have ever experienced and the hotel was awful to boot. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Cancun Hotel with Best Service Anywhere!
The staff at this hotel are amazing. They were able to answer all of our questions truthfully, and guided us to some fantastic restaurants. They were also very helpful in acquiring a taxi for our return trip to the airport. The water from the tap is not safe to drink but they provide you with bottled water at no charge. They also have free internet available 24/7. It was an incredibly nice hotel that was definitely more affordable than an all-inclusive hotel!

I expected a Best Western to be clean with friendly staff and this hotel is a dump and a nightmare. The photo on the website is NOT the hotel you will be staying at. Ants everywhere, cigarette burns on the sheets, lampshades, and furniture, moldy and dirty shower, broken sink, water stained ceilings. You're promised a free breakfast and they will yell at you saying that it is not included. Ad says that there are computers for hotel guest use and there were only wires for one. EXTREMELY RUDE staff. It is also in the middle of a scary neighborhood and not near any attractions or an ATM. After 1 night we got out of there and checked into a different hotel. DO NOT GO HERE!

this is a good hotel. the rooms are clean the staff are very friendly. the breakfast is basic, bread, jam, coffee and OJ. Not near the beach but very close to central bus terminal. from airport catch the ado bus to the central cancun terminal and this hotel is 50m from there. ideal place for a night before you fly in or out if just passing through cancun. its a 2 star hotel, u get what you pay for
