The Hacienda de Castilla Hotel, with a privileged location in the downtown area of Cancun is pleased to receive all business and pleasure tourism, within its fully renovated installations at the best rates in the zone. Basic Hotel in Cancun

This hotel is downtown. If you are planning a beach vacation in Cancun this is NOT the place. However, if you are going to Cancun on business and have a rental car and a good sense of direction this place is perfect. The staff was extremely helpful and cheerful. I would stay there again if I were traveling alone on business in Cancun.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Front desk person suggested Mandinga at the Benito Juarez dock. Excellent fresh seafood...but very rustic.
