Grand Park Royal Cancun Caribe - All Inclusive

I have to say my husband and I were pleasently suprised at the service and attention that we received from the staff during our entire stay! From arrival to departure there was not one issue! I asked to be upgraded to an ocean view and this request was happily grated. (By the way, all rooms pretty much have an ocean view. Garden Views are still facing the ocean with a partical obstruction of a palm tree)The room was very nice with a view that looks like an awesome screen saver of a tropical oasis. The resort is VERY clean, there is always staff cleaning and repairing something. The entertainment staff is GREAT as well as the bartenders! Tips are very much appreciated and well deserved! It would be nice if they had a nightly show like some of the other resorts do rather than just a gathering. We didn't take part of any off resort trips except to "The City" club with the staff.(Very worth the $45 per person that we paid) The food was very good but would have liked a bit more variety. The Italian restaurnat is AWESOME!! (We went twice)the Asian just ok.(You need reservations for both but didn't have any problem getting them.)One thing that was different was that the men had to have a shirt on with a sleeve in all the restaurants and pants and closed shoes at the special ones but women can pretty much wear anything that they want reguardless of how casual. There is a small gift shop in the hotel that is very reasonable. They have a sign that says "Cheaper than the Flea Market" and they are, about half of what another couple spent in town. The beach is the best that we have been at during out 3 trips to Cancun. Everything at the resort is very close so you aren't hiking to the pools or beach. We met some great people from all over the world. Everyone is every friendly! All in all I would have no problem recommending this resort to anyone! It was a dream vacation!!!!

To start you can beat the value of an all inclusive in Cancun! The Cancun Caribe Park Royal has fantastic rooms and the Service Staff is exceptional. Its clean and neat and everyone that works their goes out of their way to ensure satisfaction. Food was average however the Italian restaurant was delicious. Its located centrally to the up scale malls and also to the flea market if your feel like bartering. One watch out is that the time share pitch "if you opt to do it" is high pressure. We also felt that the folks that book the excursions for you were rude if you decide not to book with them. We would return as the positives far outweigh the couple negatives. Highlights are the rooms, cleanliness, beach, beach, beach, beverages and service is fast and friendly.

I went with my new wife in January (8-12). The hotel is beautiful! It looks like the pictures (in some ways even better). We stayed in the Royal Tower (the room with a jacuzzi) and when we told them we were honeymooners the upgraded the room! They were so helpful when we arrived, got us checked in smoothly, and even called our shuttle service when I realized I left something in the shuttle from the airport. The stay was very nice and very peaceful and the restaurants were delicious! (No complaints!) The whole place was clean and was constantly being cleaned. Everything was really nice at the hotel, room was clean and offered a great ocean view. We stayed in the Royal Tower, which was adults only. Although the description said NO SPRING BREAKERS, it seemed some had gotten in anyway. Not too many of them, but regardless of description, they were still there. Avoid the time share people, they only ask you once and don't harass, but avoid anyways. Would still recommend--good restaurant options and nice strong drinks, good location for walking to malls and restaurants/bars! GOod overall value.

This hotel is just beautiful, with lovely landscaped grounds and pristine, sandy beaches with turquoise-colored ocean views. Everything is immaculate and the staff is exceptional...they could not do enough for you, whether it was giving you helpful information on what bus to take to get to the Mercado 28 or bringing you a softer pillow. They were always greeting you with a friendly smile. No need to fear the language difference...everyone is bilingual. The only issue that was troublesome was the constant music and activities at the pool. (If you like rap then this is the place for you. Not my preference.)There was Bingo, water aerobics, trivia contests, kareoke with the accompaning MC and mike. Our room faced the ocean and the view was spectacular. However we also faced the pool area and the beat of the loud music was an irritant at times. There is another building farther down from the main area that was quieter. There are two fine restaurants that have a dress code; the Italian one, called the Mirador, is an especially fine restaurant with great service. I did not particularly like the menu at the Asian restaurant. The main restaurant has buffet service and the food had variety with somthing for everyone's taste. All the bar drinks were included. (I would suggest that you bring a roll of dollar bills for tips for all the service waiters and bartenders.) Beware of the heavy sell for time shares. They will plague you from day one. Don't accept their welcome package or you will have to sit through a heavy sell presentation. I would definitely return to this great resort.

The hotel was wonderful, staff were great, a tip goes a long way. The only drawback was the room, I paid additional for an upgraded room and did not get what I paid for. Oriental and Italian restaurants overrated. Paid $60 US for a taxi from the airport, ripoff. Take the shuttle for $16 Must do the Xplore tour, do not book in the hotel, way too expensive. Take the bus around town, only 8 pesos, get great magaritas at La Linda, fun bargaining at the Flea Market. Will definitely go to Mexico again, however much wiser next time.

We had a great room & an excellent view of the water from our balcony suite. The hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful to.

It was very delightful experience in very clean and peaceful stay. It was not a lot of youth and noise like we seen at near-by hotel.Nice!! Food had good selection,choice of fruits, but not much seafood. Some personal was pushy about timeshare that I had to fight back for them to stop bother me with that. Grayline transportation is a ripoff. They send me through a timeshare representative, were not on time to take me to a hotel and back to airport and to expensive. Taxi much cheaper and no string attached!
