The Oasis Cancun All Inclusive hotel is adjacent to the Nichupte Lagoon, just a short drive away from Plaza Kukulcan and the heart of the main tourist area. The hotel offers a range of sports facilities, including tennis courts and a golf course, nightly theatre entertainment and a nightclub, so guests are not likely to be left short of things to do. The biggest highlight of the Oasis Cancun may be the incredible swimming complex, where pools and waterways wind past exotic gardens and guests can enjoy waterfalls and swim-up bars.

1 yr ANNIVERSARY TRIP GONE WRONG :(

So we read some of the reviews before we left just to see what we were getting into, and i will have to say they were a bit concerning and unfortunately they were quite true, honestly the little amount of money you are saving by going is was NOT worth it first and foremost the food was TERRIBLE 100 un-edible my husband and I tried SOO incredibly hard to not be princesses about the very discouraging reviews we read but i promise you people the reviews are not a lie this place is very deceiving because it is a beautiful facility and truly has so much potential the architecture of the Buildings is great the facility is large and spread out but there are so many things to list that quickly made it unattractive to us. One other major complaint was the lack of seating at the pool , i probably walked around an hour looking for somewhere to sit . I don't really write reviews unless I fell in some way I could help make the next persons trip better than mine, Please stay away from this respect Cancun is So beautiful and has so much to offer don't ruin your trip by staying here honestly...

SERVICE there was none!!!

The hotel was very old and not well maintained and there was NO service at all but the beach and night life was a great time and some resteraunts were ok also

Good Trip

Lots of great places to eat. Lots of things to do. We were in the room at the end of building so the wifi did not work in our room. Besides that overall an good place to stay

Left me feeling unsatisfied

At check in the staff was very unfriendly & were rushing to get us out of there way. We were given a map of the property and told to purchase wifi you need to see the concierge. Concierge not friendly or informative :/ Went we went to our room it was not what we requested. Went back to the front desk and was told we could have another room but it would not have a view. Unless I wanted to upgrade. I didn't want to so we got our bags and at the new room the bed was made but the bedding was dirty, the TV & fridge did not work. Called the front desk and was told they would send housekeeping. The air conditioning was horrible. Didn't cool the room at all. But we have up asking for help! I wouldn't recommend to a friend. Positive was: food choices were endless. But service was lacking again!!

Don't Book here!

9 out of 10 people we talked to at this resort were UNHAPPY - Just got back 4/18/15 after a week long vacation here. This is some of what we experienced: pipe burst - couldn't take showers one day, NO a/c the entire week, a fire right outside our room which filled our room with smoke, room was not ready upon check-in at 3:00 - had to wait another hour, charged twice for a security box key (the lady that took our cash never updated the system so they made us pay again at check-out), the gift store cheated people out of money if they didn't know the exchange rate, pool had scum puddles laying in the middle of them in the a.m. but by the time people were in swimming the scum scattered throughout the pool, beach in front of this resort was full of cigarette butts, never seen the beach cleaned at all, staff was neither friendly nor helpful, getting clean pool towels was almost impossible - there were days we had to reuse dirty towels. Upon check in no pool towels were given to us so they gave us someone's dirty towels to exchange ourselves. Buffet food was bad. Hair in tub drain. I feel like I could go on and on. Worst place we have ever stayed and we travel a lot. Good luck if you already booked - hopefully you can take this information and be prepared!!!

Terrible Experience and Customer Service

This resort told us upon arrival that they were 100 occupied and would transfer us to another resort for the first 3 days of your trip. We then would be required to come back to them for our last (1) day. That seemed ridiculous to us and we tried to get them to just let us stay there for the entire already paid for time period but they kept saying that they could not do that. They tried to tell us it was a promotion but it clearly was not. We were shuttled an hour away to another resort that was awesome and incredible. The Barceló Resort in the Riviera Maya was great. When we went to confirm our shuttle back to the Grand Oasis they said it would not come until after noon. We had a wedding at 1:00 (which was our sole reason for coming anyway) and that would not work. We needed to be picked up at 8am and we also need our room to be ready when we arrived because we had to get ready. They would not work with us at all. Eventually they agreed and the next morning the shuttle did not arrive. We waited and waited and tried calling and finally the concierge got through and they told her it would come at noon. She explained and we explained and they DID NOT CARE! Finally they said they would call us back in ten minutes and never did. We had to taxi (a $70) expense to the wedding location and then had to get a room elsewhere that cost $488 for one night. It was so stressful and we spent so much time on the phone arguing with them and being shuttled around that it wasted almost 2 days of our 5 day trip. It was a nightmare and I would never recommend this resort to anyone even an enemy! We plan to fight the charges with Visa and attempt at getting our money back! Awful experience with them!

Spring break

Pool and beach were wonderful. Food was not good. Last day we resorted to eating crackers all day. The only place I would recommend is the VIP lounge for breakfast and lunch as well. Guys need to wear sleeves for lounge.

IT was good

The hotel was a great value for the money, my only complaint is how big it is and finding everything, it takes forever to walk from one side to the other because everything is spread out. Overall good experience
