Amazing trip!
Everything about the hotel was beautiful. The staff was extremely accomodating and we loved the dinner and shows. Amazing trip in Cancun largely in part to our hotel stay.

Great Vaca
Had a wonderful trip, great weather. Ocean view room was beautiful, watched the sunrise every morning on our balcony. Food at Marco Polo was okay but I was always full and satisfied. Breakfast and Lunch were always good, drinks strong, staff very friendly.

5 day trip
Over all it was good, but yhe food was very bad, nothinghad flavor . Lots to choose from but when you try the food it doesnt have flavor.

Hospitality exceeds expectations!
OMG!!!! That pretty much sums it up! My stay at this hotel left me in total awe, (which by the way doesn't happen often). This was my first time visiting Cancun, therefore my first stay at this hotel. And I must say, that from the moment we drove up to GR Solaris up until the moment we left, we received non-stop VIP treatment. Food was good, beverages were non-stop and excellent, shows are a must, but hats off to all the staff!!! I was so pleased with the hospitality that if I ever return or know of someone visiting the area, I will definitely book and refer the GR Solaris!

Do not waste your time and money going to the mall, flea market, or "mercado" for souvenirs...there's a "Mexican Oulet" store across the parking lot from the Starbucks...BY FAR the prettiest and cheapest souvenirs in the area!!

Awesome vacation!!! (Twice)
I have been to this resort twice now, once in 2012 and just got back from my second time now. I love the atmosphere at this resort. The staff is wonderful! They are so friendly and happy all of the time, they make you feel very at home. The entertainment staff is awesome! They are there all day to do activities with everyone, so if you like a good laugh this the place to go. They have a wonderful view of the ocean and an awesome beach with lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. They have many pools if you prefer that instead with one having a swim up bar. It is so nice having all of the food and drinks included. Most of the food is buffet style so you have your choices on what you want to eat. Their fruit is amazing and I miss it already! The rooms are very clean and they come clean/tidy up your room everyday. They have to have the air conditioning on at all times because of the humidity, which I didn't care for because I got cold inside my room and the hotel. Overall I have enjoyed my stay there both times, and I am going to go back next year. I definitely recommend this resort!

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
The different shopping markets are very intense because they want to sell everything to you. So be warned if you visit any market that they will be constantly talking to you trying to sell you something. So don't say anything or keep walking. Otherwise I recommend La Isla shopping mall which has a Mexican Outlet plus t-shirt shops that have the same souvenirs as the markets. Only you can barter at the markets, you cannot at La Isla.

Best vacation ever!
The staff made my vacation so much fun. They were easy to talk, and genuinely seemed to enjoy my company. They were very friendly and can say that I made some pretty good friends. The shows they put on after dinner were amazing! There is constantly an activity going on whether it be beach volley ball, football, ping pong, or even water aerobics. The food was pretty good. I definitely got a chance to try new things. There are also plenty of other activities you can plan out such as snorkeling and swimming with dolphins. Getting to lay on the beach was amazing! I'm coming back for sure next year!! I highly recommend going to the GR Solaris for a great vacation!
