Not the same as it used to be
We have stayed at Dreams before and it is not the same place it used to be. Our air conditioner would not work in our room - after several days of complaining and several maintenance men visiting our stay was over and it was never fixed. Service USED to be great, but not anymore - it seems like they have cut the staff down. 1 waiter for the whole beach and poolside the bartender was also the waiter. I don't like going on an all inclusive vacation and not even being able to get a drink - especially with the money we spent! On a good note - the beaches were nice and the room was clean.

Don't get a taxi at the airport to get to your hotel, book online with a private service. Round trip with the private service was less than the price for one way from the taxi!

The Red Hen on her 60th
A total dissappointment !!!
Our stay at our hotel this time was a total waste of money. I will never stay there again. You should change the name to The Nightmare in Mexico. The service at the Bars and inside restaurant was terrible. Unless we were handing out money to all of the staff continuously we were ignored. That's funny because I thought the tips were part of our package. The staff has been cut since the last time we were at this hotel, this also explains why the service was so bad. I found members of the staff sleeping in the most unusual places. But I can't blame them when many of them are working at the hotel for up to eighteen hours a day. The pool was filthy and not maintained as well as much of the pool furniture etc. I could go on and on but why bother. We were scammed by professionals and we lost a lot of money because of it. I just wish I could go back in time to plan our vacation over, it would not be thru our travel choice and it would not be on Useless Air and it would definitely not be at this resort..

Not at all worth it
Great staff members and food. Loved the beach and the pool. Room was nice and comfortable. Had issues with many things, one of which I tried to resolve with management but never got a returned call. Overall poor experience and I'm not alone--no one in our traveling party will be coming back and that's a shame, this was a return trip from a time when the hotel was better managed.

Midweek anniversary getaway
My husband and I had a short but lovely stay. I enjoyed the yoga class and the privacy of the beaches. The spa experience was AMAZING, along with our oceanside massages. We enjoyed watching the dolphins anytime day or night and loved that there was also a freshwater pool to snorkel in. We loved the fact that this was smaller than other hotels we've stayed in and didn't feel overcrowded. We were never lacking for chairs near the pool or beach and although we had to wait a few minutes for a dinner table at the Oceana restaurant, our meal was served quickly and we were seated quickly at all other meals. The exterior appearacne of the hotel may leave something to be desired but the overall experience far outweighed any negative factors and we plan to return in the future.

Dreams Cancun - Not To Shabby
As a (6) time visitor to Cancun , I decided to stray from a famous (3) lettter chain hotel , ( Starts with an "R" and ends with a "U". and try Dreams. LOCATION is very good , easy access to everything. BEACH - the best so far because there are very few rocks. FOOD - Outstanding because of (3) Ala Carte Restaurants. Steak - Seafood - Japanese.Also there is Very Fast , Very Good ROOM SERVICE available. The Buffet leaves a lot to be desired. POOL would be considered medicore at best. Bar Staff is fair , drinks were ALWAYS weak. Overall , I liked it due to the Beach , Food and Location. I would stay there again if I got ithe same ridiculous price I received on this trip (under $ 1,900.00 ) for two people 8 days - 7 nights.

Dreams Family Spot
Good hotel, had fun with family however, food was disappoiting compared to other resorts we stayed at, entertainment was good and nice staff...dolphins were really cool

This hotel was awesome, great staff, beautiful beaches and just overall amazing ambiance, the hotel is a little on the older side and the price for the dolphin attraction is way too, other than that, great stay!

Live Love Laugh
8 Nights and so Happy
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the staff at Dreams resort went out of their way to ensure that this was a great vacation! The food and entertainment staff was awesome and the meals were better than average. We highly recommend the steak house and the mexican restaurant. For the cost, this is the best vacation we have ever had. There were lots of young families and they were all very well behaved. We really enjoyed everyone and everything.
