BelleVue Beach Paradise All Inclusive

We enjoy the beach and friendly staff. Everything was nice for the price we paid.

I had some concern about this all inslusive resort after reading a few discouraging and almost offensive reviews. However, many other remarks were delightful and based upon the excellent value this resort offers we decided to book a five night stay. I have traveled to many islands and have stayed at many resorts and I am also known as one who has high (but reasonable) expectations. I would certainly return to BelleVue Beach Paradise and found that any apparent negatives were out weighed by many positive aspects. The hotel is aging and in need of some cosmetic rennovation without question. However, the rooms were large and clean and the staff works incredibly hard to please all quests. The beach is gorgeous with stunning vistas. The BelleVue pool may be smaller by resort standards, but was more than adequate, with it's fun swim up bar and volleyball area. Once again, alway's kept impeccably clean. The food, although not elaborate, was better than adequate with reasonable choice and kept fresh. Besides the standard buffet item's, there is a grill service where cooked to order egg omletts are created for breakfast and grilled chicken, steak fish or pork chops can be found during lunch or dinner. The Mediterranean restaurant (you can only dine there once per a weeks stay) was very nice, but with a limited menu' selection. The other (Italian) restaurant was closed during our stay, perhaps because of it being off season (May). I felt safe, well fed, the drinks were free flowing (but not top shelf), the saff was first rate, the room was clean and adequate, with spectacular views of a wonderful beach and ocean front with a pool overlooking it all. Not alot of night life, but for those who crave that, it's just a one dollar (American) bus ride to arrive to the late night party scene. It was a wonderful time for a super great price. I will go back, so don't be intimidated by reviews that seem to be deliberately devised to discredit this affordable, great little bargin.

Smelled like mold and lamp had mold on it. The staff is very rude and wouldnt help us. Food was alwful. Only positive thing was the scenery. I recommend everyone spend a little more on accomodations. We moved to another resort after police had people outside our door handcuffed and stretched on floor.

The hotel was a decent place to stay if you are on a budget. This was our first time staying in the hotel zone, and I imagine we won't do it again. The good was the bus system. Buses run ALL the time and it's really cheap to ride. All the bus drivers new where things were and all you had to do was tell them where you want to stop and they would stop. The food at the hotel was average. They have 3 restaurants to choose from, however the Med one is a one night only (if you're staying there 7 days or less) and they are not very helpful in making that reservation. We did not eat there. The Italian was average (don't eat the pizza), so we ate mostly at the main buffet style option. They had a different theme every night. They also had a snack bar by the pool but we never had the chance to eat there. It had basic hot dogs and hamburgers, nothing special. We purchased a Jr. Suite and did get an ocean view however we did not get a balcony and I was VERY disappointed about that. When I asked to have a balcony they told me they only had rooms with double beds and a balcony, nothing with a queen bed. Not very happy considering. The windows did open but it was not the same. The beach was ok. The water is VERY rough and not good for small children at all. If you are not a strong swimmer do not venture out to far. The beach staff was not very friendly either. One kid (probably 18 or 19) tried to tell us 2 days in a row we could not move the chairs from where they were. Obviously we ignored him and moved them where we wanted to. The beach does "close" at 5pm which I thought was to early. There are life guards but they are more interested in socializing with each other than watching the water. The entertainment was basically non existent during our week there. They had one show that was not very good, but otherwise it was up to you to find your own fun. We both like to play pool so we frequented the pool tables almost every night. Again, if you're on a budget I suppose this wouldn't be to bad, however I will not stay here again.

After reading reviews, I was afraid that the hotel was not going to be a comfortable place to stay. Thankfully, upon arriving, the hotel looked clean and beautiful. The staff was amazing, very respectful and courteous. The room was clean and was cleaned everyday, if you wanted new sheets everyday you could request that, if not they would change them every other day, we received new towels each time the room was cleaned. Air conditioning could be set to whatever temperature we wanted. The view was amazing, and the ocean was right in front. The hotel had 3 bars, a clean pool, and snacks at almost any time of day. The hotel had different type of entertainment for the guests such as Bingo, dancing, beach volleyball, and karaoke. The food was NOT amazing but it wasn't terrible, they offered a fish dish, chicken dish, and beef or pork dish every meal, salad bar, soup etc. Drinks were great and someone was always at the bar ready to serve.

From our first day to our last everyone at this hotel made our stay wonderful. The Entertainment staff ROCKS!!! My favorite...... They really made the trip... They keep you smiling and having a good time morning till night... The severs are bartenders were amazing... The rooms were very clean.... the food was good... The beach is perfect.... Have no complaints would stay at this again for sure.

Cheap All-Inclusive. You get what you pay for here. Small hotel with few extras. Good for seniors or people with no kids. Buffet is all that is offered. No "A La Carte" special dinning. One lobby bar, one pool bar, no beach bar. All bars closed by 12 midnight. Small pool, which, while relatively clean, left me with a "film" on my skin. If you want to "hang" at the beach you have to keep climbing a set of stairs if you want a drink. Cheap entertainment. Nice staff but pushy "welcoming people" ... tried to get me to go on a "time-share" visit. Hotel is old with visible broken concreate and peeling paint throughout its facilities. For a few hundred dollars more I am sure I could have done better. You live and learn!

Website is incorrect in the following: There is no gym as advertised There is one buffet eatery where you eat all of your 1 star meals, many are left overs. WiFi is not free, $16.00 US/Day. Safe locks are $6.00 per day w/50.00 deposit Didn't have water twice; hot water scalds/freezes Toilet leaked everywhere Upper floor rooms are mildew & bug ridden Elevators broke twice You can't secure specifics for your room until you get there. Place was not full, couldn't understand why we couldn't get the few things we asked for. It seemed like they just didn't feel like being nice at the desk. Fodors warns against this behavior. We had dive gear and were given a 11th floor with stairs; we're women divers with gear & they saw the luggage we were expected to carry up stairs. No bell boy service here. We passed on the first set of rooms, bugs & mildew, moved to the 9th floor; cleaner but old everything. Were advised that they couldn't give us any other rooms like they were booked. There wasn't that many people there. We wanted a balcony to dry our gear so we wouldn't make a mess in their room, Couldn't get that & we rented two rooms. Wouldn't stay there again and we're not real picky people.

Will come back again! Great value for the money. Staff are very nice. The hotel was exactly what we expected (we knew we are not going in a 5-star hotel) and looked exactly as shown on the pictures.

Totally disappointed, the whole hotel needs a remodel. It looks to be falling down around them. The staff is just there, they don't go out of their way to serve. The food was just okay. What was served at lunch, was made into dinner and dinner ended up the next day on the breakfast buffet. We never got to try the reservation only restaurant. It was full all week, not a table available for us in a week of trying to get in. Never stay there again.
