Best 4 day weekend getaway

My friend and I stayed here two years ago. Had a wonderful time here, right on the beach and 10-15 minute walk to the main attraction/ nightlife clubs. We stayed in a room on the lower floor, with two beds and a living area with a sliding door patio looking right out to the flamingo grounds. Cute décor and very clean. The resort is right on the beach and you can walk into the sister resort, I believe its called Rose Bonito or something similar to that name. There were more older couples at this resort but we still enjoyed our stay as we made friends with a couple of the servers and they showed us around the local bars. We really love the hospitality. They told us that they have never been invited by visitors to join or show them around and they were very appreciative that we didn't treat them as just workers but enjoy their company. The servers showed us their gratitude by serving us a 5 course meal on the outdoor patio restaurant looking out to the beach on our last night. Such memorable moments. I would definitely stay here again. Also, if you walk down the steps to the beach and go to the right of the hotel, there's restaurants right on the sand.

The Hotel had some major issues with bookings

We had a room booked along with another couple. Two rooms. When we arrived on Sat, we were told there was a computer glitch, they had no rooms available and we were going to be staying at another hotel. Other couple had same thing happen to them. We all were bussed to another hotel that was very far away and not close to anything. We had booked the hotel because of the convienience of being close to marina and downtown. We had to pay for taxi service which was not in our original plan. After much complaining, they were able to get us a room the next afternoon and Pueblo Bonito. On Tuesday, we were informed that people who had time share wanted the room we were in and we were moved once again. We were given $150 credit to be used on food & drinks only at the hotel. The staff was pleasant and the hotel was clean but it was a hassell to be moved 2 times in one week. I recommend the hotel because of its location. Talking to other guests there, this had been a problem for the past 4 weeks.

Great Hotel

Great service, good food, and very nice rooms. All have ocean views. You can dine right on the beach only feet from the surf. I would recommend the all inclusive plan as food and drink are pricey. [...]

Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco

We spent a lot of time on the beach. The waiters were friendly and efficient and were happy to accommodate any requests. The hotel was a close walk into the town so we enjoyed dinner out and dancing every night. We learned to ask other tourists were to eat and spend a night out. The local residents tended to steer us to locations that were expensive and they were getting kick back from.

Dining tip: In Hotel

The hotel restaurants had excellent breakfasts. The buffet was a lot of food so we ordered from the menu which was more than enough food and saved us a lot of money.

Great location, hotel very clean and staff very helpful. Drinks at pool a little pricey better to go down to Mendono beach and hang out at the Sand Bar.

Great location close to marina and all water activities. Quiet and very well kept up by staff. Good selection of hotel activities, and it's right on the beach for swimming.

Local marina market is best on non-cruise ship days. Not busy and vendors are willing to cut prices!

Beautiful location, but older hotel

Beautiful location and view of the ocean was fabulous. Don't plan on watching TV, we could find only a few channels that weren't spanish channels even though we checked English, and a lot of channels for kids. Only 2 things keep this from being a 5 star for me. One was the paper thin walls. With the exception of 2 domestic arguments at night, the other guests were quiet, and the 2nd thing was the fridge. Small, whcih was ok, but it smelled bad when we got there and the unit is so old, when we put ice cream in the freezer we couldnt get them out because of the frost build up. I found it annoying when asking a question, either in a shop at the hotel or at the pool bar, they would begin speaking spanish to other employees regarding my question. I saw a drink go by while I was at the bar and wanted to try, and I had to listen to 3 minutes of back and forth Spanish over one question--what kind of drink is that?
