All-suite Los Cabos hotel captivates with sea vistas and free-form pool
With crisp white buildings and a glorious spot overlooking Land's End, Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco holds a prime position on El Medano Beach. The 148-room property seduces with views of the Sea of Cortez and space to boot. All the rooms are suites designed with balconies or patios and kitchenettes. When guests are not wading in the oversized free-form pool, they are taking in the scene from the two on-site restaurants.

Absolutely Beautiful

We needed a second room for two adult children and this was perfect. They put the two into a room near ours, making it convenient to communicate and meet. The beds have pillow tops and the maid service always thorough. Towels were plentiful, hairdryers and other appliances, like the coffee maker, worked well. The refrigerator made it nice to keep drinks cool. The pool is one of the nicest I've experienced and the beach welcoming. The desk staff (Hugo and Yair) excellent. Additionally, Rosalba Q. at reservations is easy and efficient to work with.

Missiones del Kino is a quaint restaurant with specialty food. It is average priced and the owner Israel, serves from the original Mission. The atmosphere is quiet and classy. The waiting staff is the same as it has been for years and the quality of the food supreme.

birthday beach trip

I have stayed with Pueblo Bonito at their Mazatlan location so I had an idea what to expect and they surely delivered. The rooms are furnished well and maintained superbly. Our hair dryer supplied with the room gave out and we dropped a remote, lossing the batteries; both times they were at our door in five minutes with replacements. the staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the area and activities, and glad to help with any questions at any hour of the day. you can't get any closer to the beach than at this hotel. good views of lover's beach and a well landscaped grounds. good value for a very central location. minutes from the marina and downtown but also a short walk on the beach in the opposite direction will reward you with privacy from other resorts.

Hotel Blunder

Reserved 4 rooms 4 months in advance. On arriving we were told no rooms available.....they were overbooked. The solution offered was to stay 2 nights in a "sister" hotel. After much discussion a 1 night stay was agreed with a $100 credit toward food and beverage once we returned. The sister hotel was not satisfactory. This was the 8th year we had stayed at the Pueblo Bonita Los Cabos.

The Hotel had some major issues with bookings

We had a room booked along with another couple. Two rooms. When we arrived on Sat, we were told there was a computer glitch, they had no rooms available and we were going to be staying at another hotel. Other couple had same thing happen to them. We all were bussed to another hotel that was very far away and not close to anything. We had booked the hotel because of the convienience of being close to marina and downtown. We had to pay for taxi service which was not in our original plan. After much complaining, they were able to get us a room the next afternoon and Pueblo Bonito. On Tuesday, we were informed that people who had time share wanted the room we were in and we were moved once again. We were given $150 credit to be used on food & drinks only at the hotel. The staff was pleasant and the hotel was clean but it was a hassell to be moved 2 times in one week. I recommend the hotel because of its location. Talking to other guests there, this had been a problem for the past 4 weeks.

Picture Perfect Location

We had reserved a junior suite for our stay, however at check-in we were told that they had no junior suites available. However, the staff was very apologetic and accomodating and upgraded us to a luxury suite at no charge. The hotel is located right on the beach, very close to the marina and downtown. The location could not be better. I downgraded the amenities simply because the hotel does not have enough lounge chairs and umbrellas around the pool to accomodate all of the guests. You literally have to get your towels at 8:00 am when the pool opens to reserve your chairs (which is supposedly not allowed, however everyone does it), otherwise if you show up later there will be none available. Clearly, they could spend a few bucks to handle the number of guests. My only other complaint is that the restaurant is open air and the home to quite a few birds. Check your chair before sitting or you may be sitting in bird droppings. Otherwise, the hotel is great and we had a wonderful time.
