With crisp white buildings and a glorious spot overlooking Land's End, Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco holds a prime position on El Medano Beach. The 148-room property seduces with views of the Sea of Cortez and space to boot. All the rooms are suites designed with balconies or patios and kitchenettes. Great location, terrible terrible food.

First- let me start by saying the amenities, the room, and the front office staff were very good. Unfortunately, that's where the good stops. For an all Inclusive, the food is always a little rough. This place tops bad food with slow and inattentive. On more than one occasion we waited 15 minutes plus to be acknowledged and seated at a sparsly populated hotel restaurant. The staff just is either too busy or not paying attention. Bartenders on property are pretty good, but after talking to multiple guests, we came to the conclusion that this hotel is a much better deal without the all inclusive package. Really don't think there is a better looking or located hotel. Real shame they can't seat people quickly nor make a passable taco.

THE WORST! Horrible, rip off, awful. Don't do it..

This place is horrible. Rip off artists. Every person I met there during our trip felt the same. Including the people who made the mistake of buying a time share there..... ALL INCLUSIVE means HORRIBLE FOOD AND AWRUL SERVICE. Great beach in front of hotel. That is the only nice thing I can say. Staff acts as if you are an annoyance, even if you are asking a simple question. If you try to order food or drinks with your all inclusive be ready to have the worst service in your life. The food was not much better. I actually thought I was going to have to fight one of the bartenders. One of the pool attendants made my wife cry. I complained a couple times to "management" but soon realized everyone there is part of the rip off. They know once you pay online and go there you are screwed... Don't trust the other reviews on here or you will be very sorry. We did and it was a massive mistake. We'll never go back.

Golf Trip 8 guys

When arriving on Jan 31 2014 we were told no rooms available until Feb 3. We had reserved 4 rooms. Their solution was to move us to another hotel for that period of time. After about 20 minutes of 8 guys blocking the check in counter, loud voices, 2 telephone conversations with so-called Managers ( the decision making manager was in a meeting and would not answer. We were on hold for about 10 min.) 2 rooms were made available and 2 rooms in another hotel for 1 night. Staff very UNCONCERNED about problem. This is the 2nd year (2013 and 2014) the NO ROOMS problem has occurred at check in.

Didn't Meet Expectations

Our stay at the Pueblo Bonito got off to a rough start immediately as we checked into our room. We were told we were receiving a free upgrade to a luxury suite which when we got to the room was not to expectation. The bedroom was off of the main area in a seperate Room directly off the hallway. No ocean view, dark, double beds, a bad set up. Not to mention we were promised an ocean view room, which I have to say not many rooms there have that. We then declined this room and asked to be downgraded from what we purchased which was a jr suite. So we ended up asking for a studio because there were no jr suites available even though we booked that and the luxury suite was unacceptable to us. We then were loved to a studio with no view, after two days in that room that they moved us to a different studio with a slightly better view however no ocean view. So we ended up having three rooms in 5 days for our trip, no what we expected. In addition the service was not good at the resort, the staff seemed put out when we asked any questions on dinner, breakfast, towels, etc. Also you don't have coffee in your room, you have to request it or go downstairs to a restaurant to get it and they don't open until 7:00 or even 8:00 some days and there is no common place for the coffee. You have to go into the restaurant and ask for a cup and it always was a hassle. I was shocked there was no common area in the lobby for coffee, or that you had to request it in yor room, this was an all inclusive package after all. The dinner options were limited however the food was decent. There is an Italian restaurant called Felleni's which is on property however you have to pay an additional $10 per person to eat there. How is that all inclusive? It just didn't make sense to is. Overall we didn't enjoy our experience at the property, we started at the Los Cabos Pueblo Bonito and ended up at the Rose after the room changes. The location is very good for both properties however. The service just wasn't up to par for us.

great hotel once we got settled in

however they didnt have a room for us when we got there at 4pm 1/17/14 & wanted to move us to a sister hotel far away. they said we could have a free dinner while they sorted out our room and then when the bill came the waiter would not comply with the front desk and demanded a room # or a credit card. very embarrassing!

Worth the return visit !!

I stayed here about 20 years ago and chose to come again because of the excellent service, walk to town location, swim friendly beach, etc. I found it to be exactly the same yet better because of the additional facilities provided by the larger sister Pueblo Bonito Rose resort next door. As nice a s the newer Rose is, I still prefer the more "quaint" and personal size of the Blanco Los Cabos property. We opted to go with adding the all-inclusive option to our package and we're glad we did because the food was excellent, specially at Cilantro's a la carte restaurant. The only thing we found missing from the AI option was not having their own water sports equipment. It was available nearby but at a substantial cost. Would I go back and refer it to friends, absolutely!

Next time we'll stay at their Rose hotel

The hotel is beautiful, but showing it's age. We were actually told that it will be demolished within the next 5 years. The front door & front desk staff is great. At check-in, despite having booked this 9 months earlier, we were given a ground floor room overlooking the flamingo pool - they're gorgeous, but very noisy. So we asked for an upper and they were able to switch us after one day. Unfortunately, the room looked out into all the palm trees, so not much of the view we had been promised. Also, we found tiny ants on our counters & some walls every day - no clue where they were coming from. Their pool is nice, but a lot smaller than Rose's. The staff at the beach-side restaurant was great, but we found the opposite at their sports bar restaurant. If you don't come in with a crowd, they're not very interested in you. We found much better service pool-side at Rose. Look for Israel - he was always anticipating our every need. Rose's pool is huge & has many more lounge chairs than Blanco. So we spent our week sleeping at Blanco & lounging at Rose. A few things to watch at Blanco - immediately upon check-in, we were asked to sit down with the consierge. We expected the usual welcome speech, but were instead subjected to a half hour of tough sell on switching to all-inclusive and/or attending the timeshare breakfast. Because we weren't wearing the all-inclusive bracelets, this wouldn't be the first time we would be subjected to this. Really put a damper on the vacation. Also, Blanco has no in-room binder explaining all the amenities & showing you where everything is so you kind of have to figure it out on your own. Their hotel TV channel helps, but it doesn't show everything. Note: their suites have kitchenettes, but no coffee fixings. You have to buy that downstairs. Another disappointment was that they added approx. $1 per day for some type of donation, but never mentioned it to us, and we didn't notice it til we got home. Not a big deal - just felt they should have asked us up front. Also, in the very tiny fine print on the room service receipt is a notice that they've already added a gratuity. We didn't see it til the end of our trip, so some of the staff were VERY well tipped those days :-) If you want WIFI, you have to go outside the hotel to a little area they have set up for that. Not too convenient. All in all, for our first trip to Cabo, Blanco was nice but not nice enough considering the cost, so next time we'll stay at Rose. Their staff is more attentive & more English is spoken there. Plus, they have the world's best Activities gal, Linda - she's got great energy & it's a lot of fun to watch her pull us into her pool-side activities.

Offshore slam

This was our second stay at PB Blanco. The hotel, the weather, the food and the fishing were wonderful. Cilantros restaurant and the chef Clemente were a highlight of the trip. The chef prepared our fresh catch of dorado and yellow fin tuna multiple ways. Upon checkin we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite with a great ocean view. The only problem that we had was that the earliest Cape Travel shuttle to the airport was at 9:30am. (The 7:30am and 8:30am transfers were discontinued.) We therefore had to pay extra for a taxi in order to make our flight.

Great weekend at Pueblo Bonito

My wife and I stayed at this hotel over the holiday weekend and it was a fantastic time! We set our airport transfer's through them and from start to finish it couldn't have been an easier process. We arrived and the check-in process was a breeze. Yair was more than helpful and got us right to our room. The room was in great condition and we have zero complaints about it. We chose to do the all-inclusive and it was a great decision. The food was very good, all the staff was helpful and we never had an issue! Margarito was outstanding by the pool and always helped us with whatever we needed. We could not have been happier with our stay and will definitely be back!!
