Las Brisas
If you're looking for a peaceful, romantic and relaxing getaway in Acapulco, it doesn't get any better than Las Brisas! Your own private casita, stunning views, soothing ocean breezes, plus attentive and friendly staff. Every time we went into town, we couldn't wait to get back to our peaceful escape up on the mountainside. Unless your 21 and want to party all day and night, why stay down on the hot crowded hotel strip?

like almost every hotel in acapulco everything is really RETRO. this hotel is in a "good location" but its just really 80's looking. Everything is old. Staff is nice. But its to much money for what its really worth. The rooms are small. You dont have a fridge. Wont be coming back to this hotel.

Relaxing Girls Trip
Las Brisas was the perfect spot for a relaxing girls trip. The two of us had a wonderful time relaxing on the balcony, by our private pool, and in the A-MA-ZING beach club. The beach club alone is worth the trip--although a short van ride from the hotel, the cove-style beach club allows you to enjoy the oceans sans getting dragged around or worried about drifting out to sea! The rooms were clean and super comfy. Food and beverage were typical--average at best and a little pricey. Overall I couldn't recommend Las Brisas more!

a great weekend away from DF
Had a great long weekend stay at Las Brisas and especially appreciated the upgrade to the Beach club level upon arrival. Stunning location, super relaxation. The food could use some improvement (not much variety), but I would definitely go back.

Las Brisas is beautiful
We took a chance on Las Brisas Acapulco for a three-day romantic getaway, and it was lovely and relaxing. The housekeeper was very sweet and meticulous, and placed fresh Hibiscus flowers around the room and in our pool daily. On our last day, she crafted two swans from towels and placed them on the bed, decorated with Hibiscus flowers. Room service fulfilled our food and drink requests promptly and even accommodated our vegetarian requests. Las Brisas and its beach club (La Concha) doesn't have a great deal of vegetarian options but they are happy to accommodate. La Concha is on the Acapulco Bay but there is no sand. They do offer a seawater-fed lagoon with snorkeling and scuba options, which we enjoyed. If you are looking for typical sandy beach access, this resort is not for you. La Concha and its restaurant were nice to visit but we enjoyed our private pool casita much more. Upgrading to a beach club casita offers a king bed and larger private pool; however, we did not receive the complimentary white wine and massages, which were meant to be included. We requested the wine three times on the first night, and they finally brought a small, warm bottle. We didn't bother after that and never received the massages. The nominal charge for the room upgrade was worth it though for the larger pool. We elected for the Odyssey Travel Gray Line shuttle service to and from the airport for $65USD but found that taxis were waiting at the airport and would have taken us to the resort for the half the price. Joel Flores, the representative from Gray Line shuttle service, also scammed us by offering a dinner and drink package plus transport to and from La Perla to watch the cliff divers. We were charged $200 USD, received a downgraded menu with four cheap dinner options (penne pasta with cheese on top) and overpaid for the transport. The driver also requested that we be back at 9:50pm instead of the agreed upon 10:15pm time so we missed the last cliff diving show. The driver was a bit rude as well. We were quite happy to pay for secure travel but realized the "package" deal was a way for Odyssey Travel to take advantage of tourists and offer little in return. When we arrived at La Perla, Joel said he had a gift for us, stressing the fact it was "a special gift," he handed us a map of another city near Acapulco where Odyssey Travel also offered overpriced tours. Las Brisas is not overpriced comparatively as we lived comfortable for three days and spent around $150USD per day for all services, food and lots of drinks.

Have Las Brisas organize travel to see the cliff divers and order from their standard menu. Don't book a package deal as it is overpriced and lacks quality.
