Annual trip to Acapulco
March 2012 was the second year that we have stayed at the Fiesta Americana in Acapulco, and we have been very pleased with our stay both times. We have stayed at other places in Acapulco that were great too, but the Fiesta Americana offers the most of want we want. ie: Great pool area, great location, terrific staff, microwave and refrigerator in the room. We plan on staying there for many more years to come.

Best service-oriented hotel in Acapulco
This was our eighth consecutive stay at the Fiesta Americana Villas Acapulco. We have stayed there for part of February since 2005. The Fiesta Americana is definitely a great value. The hotel, situated on a majestic cliffside rock, with access to the beach, has recently been renovated and features gorgeous luxury suites (king size beds, living room, kitchenette, two balconies, huge bathroom), with panoramic views of the mountains, the city, and the bay. It is paradise. The staff treat us like royalty and are very service-oriented. We've stayed at hotels all over the world, and we've never had service as outstanding as that of the Fiesta Americana in Acapulco. The pool is gorgeous, with great views of the Pacific Ocean. There's no better, centrally located place to stay in Acapulco than the Fiesta Americana.

Acapulco has many fine restaurants, but you need to take a taxi to get to them. The Fiesta has a great breakfast buffet and poolside lunch restaurant, The Maima. Avoid the touristy waterfront bars and restaurants on the Costera. Splurge and take a cab to a good restaurant in other parts of town. Don't listen to the bad press; Acapulco is safe if you take a cab at night and don't go looking for trouble.

This hotel is in the perfect location, for all activities. The staff speaks English and they remember you by name after one encounter. We will be back again and again.

Great to explore hotel services.
A short weekend full of excitement, service and comfort. Unfortunately the size and quality of the beach is not for kids.

GREAT LOCATION, GREAT POOL, GREAT ROOMS
Almost perfect, the location, the facilities, the restaurants, the ambience in general. Only bad thing: The staff trying to sale their time share system. They are really pushy even after you explained you were not interested, they will push more and more... well I guess that is their job. Other than that... PERFECT.

Good Place but.....
Excellant location, felt safe there in spit of the current Alcapoco problems. Requested a new room for second night. The group next door partied all night with a very, laud boom box. Also don"t stay on the west side on Saturady night as the night club is also too laud to late. Avoid the weekends and you will like the place.

Very clean, environmentally conscious, staff very accommodating and informative, versatile on food /dining options both within and adjacent to hotel grounds, versatile on sunbathing lounging and activities, great location to explore other parts of city either by walking/cab/public transportation.
