Hearton Hotel Nishiumeda Osaka

Simply the best!!! The front counter staff even offered to walk us to the bus limou station when he learnt that we do not have umbrella and assist us with our hand luggage while we push our own luggage. Amazing!!!

Very small double room with no space for two luggage. Very good location close to Osaka Station with lots of restaurants and walking distance to major japanese retail chains and transport.

Great location beside JR Osaka station and subway. Lots of shopping nearby. Highly recommended.

At a very affordable price, the location is very convenient. It was a no-hassle stay in this hotel. Rooms are cleaned, bedsheets and towels are fresh everyday.

The hotel is situation right next to Osaka station and is also within a block of a restaurant street as well as convenience stores. This makes getting around to places very easy and never having to worry about food or water. While there is no direct airport bus to the hotel, the airport bus does stop within 1.5 block of the hotel (at Herbis Osaka) so that is not an issue. We have a twin room and by Japan standard is very big. The bed is comfy and everything in the room is clean. There is free wired internet in the room but free wifi at the first floor lobby. There's also coin laundry at the basement which is useful for longer trips. TV is limited to Japanese channels and no international English channels at all. The staff can speak enough English to accomplish what you wanted which is always a plus in Japan. For the price that we paid (~$110 CAD per night for twin room) it is highly recommend and no complains at all. Would definitely book this hotel if I'm going to Osaka again.

The hotel was in a great location right by the OSAKA JR station and the Hankyu Umeda station in osaka. From here, one could basically connect to every location in japan. (this area has high-end shops and a lot of business travelers, and feels a bit more safe than the Namba location, but it also closes down much earlier) The rooms were a pretty decent size. Nothing too big, but definitely able to move around and be comfortable. The floors/chairs had a little stain on them, but everything else in the room (including the bathroom) was very clean. The 2 single beds in the room were bigger than twin size, but smaller than full and they were incredibly hard. So if you don't like sleeping on something equivalent to hardwood floors, you may not get a good nights rest. 2 pillows were provided (one was buckwheat, the other down) Overall, I would definitely book this place again for any trip to the Osaka/Kansai region. It's just too good of a deal for the location/convenience

We had 3 rooms and were there the first two weeks in April, 2011. A semi-double, a single (the same room as a semi-double) and a twin. The twin was almost roomy compared to the other two. Suggest that you spend the extra money as the small rooms you can hardly get your luggage into them. Staff was helpful, we ate at the breakfast buffet for 1050 yen each morning. It was a good value. Location was excellent for all the sightseeing we did. The trains got us to our destinations easily.

For the price, you can't go wrong (9-day stay). The location of the hotel is ideal. It is close to everything---shopping, train stations, restaurants. The hotel is located one street over from Herbis (high-end shopping complex) and way from the busy chaotic streets of Osaka; therefore the areas is quiet and safe. Majority of the staff speaks great English. Rooms were Western culture style, including a bathroom. Room was comfortable and housekeeping service great. Enjoyed the surround sound radio in the room with English music channels. The only things that would have made the stay better for my friends and myself is if the hotel had a pool because it was HOT during the summer.
