Couples Sans Souci - All Inclusive

This was our second stay at this resort and this trip was even better than the first. Transfer-arrived at Couples Lounge at airport and transfer left within 15 minutes. One couple had to go to the bathroom mid-trip, so we did have one stop. Check-in- Friendly, quick, and efficient- room ready after a few minutes (Arrived at resort 1:30). Room- we stayed in a One Bedroom Ocean View room (G14). The room was large and comfortable with a fantastic balcony and fabulous view of the ocean. We knew going in that the rooms are dated but they are kept very clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Food- Food at all restaurants were great. There was always plenty to eat and a reasonable amount of choices. Our meal at Cassanova was amazing. The repeaters dinner was also incredible! Room service is a good addition, however selection is limited. Loved having breakfast on our patio in the morning. Drinks were plentiful and the staff was always willing to refill and refill. Our one disappointment was the Starlight Gala. Due to overcast weather, this was moved inside. We were put in the "banquet hall" for this dinner. It was like being at a wedding reception-very disappointing. Spent most of our time at the AN beach. Everyone there is so friendly (staff and guests). Food at lunch at the AN Beach was limited but acceptable. Nice not having to leave. Beach on that side is incredible but could use some more palapas. Unfortunately, guests were saving loungers with their towels often not coming down all day to use the loungers. Incredible staff, some who remembered us from two years ago! Where else does this happen. We will definitely be returning.

I just returned from a week's stay at Couples Sans Souci. My only regret is that I didn't book for 10 days. I loved the staff and their commitment to great service. The GM talked with us several times during our stay to check in on our experience. The food was very good and the resort was clean and beautiful. They did well after cleaning up from hurricane Sandy. I would not hesitate to book another vacation with Couples (this was our second time).

Just know it is older - but in great shape - lots of stairs and character, which we loved - and staff were great!

Very romantic and intimate setting. Loved the verticality of the location. The beach is small and a little poorly kept. The overall grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The spa staff was very attentive and did a wonderful job on our couples massage. The location for the massage was spectacular. This property has lots of little hidden places lots of privacy. It's a small property, and it often feels like you're the only ones there because of the seclusion. The rooms could use some updating with new furniture and decorations. Definitely the bathroom in our unit needs to be updated. If you have trouble with steps this is NOT the place for you. This is a couples-only hotel, and the lack of children running around made for a very soothing experience. Finally, the private dinner at the wedding gazebo was excellent. Very private, very romantic, and delicious. The attendent did a fantastic job.

This resort one of the best for food, friends an AN facilities

We had one bedroom ocean view suite in G block. The view from our large balcony was amazing. Very friendly staff and delicious food. We will be back!

The staff at the hotel are wonderful!! Bought a dozen lobsters from a local fisherman and the staff went out of there way to help me get them cleaned and cooked. Drinks were awsome.

We were lucky to get such a wonderful all-inclusive experience without doing any real research. We highly recommend Couples Sans Souci as a romantic getaway!

The genuinely friendly staff made the trip worthwhile. They went over the top to satisfy all your needs. The resort's grounds and views were beautiful. The rooms could use some updating but had everything you need and our ocean view suite was spacious and had a very large private balcony. The resort had plenty of ammenities; snorkling, sailing, scuba, kayaking and spa treatments to keep you occuppied. The outside attractions; swim with the dolphins, the falls and golf were great, close to the resort and transportation was provided. The only disappointment was the beaches. They were not the soft white sand we were hoping for.

We went to this resort to celebrate our 35th anniversary. Many of the people we met were recently married but we also met one couple that had been coming to this resort for 15 years - and we can understand why! Many steps to get around this sprawling resort...may not be for those unable to walk or climb...but was great for us. Beautiful environment, great staff, warm (HOT) weather and many activities make this a resort we will return to.
