Explore tropical wonders of Negril at budget friendly beachfront resort

The condominium-style Negril Beach Club Resort caters to guests wishing to explore Negril's natural beauty and attractions. The resort is located on Seven Mile Beach, a playground for water sports, walking or lounging. A short trip brings guests to Negril's other natural wonder, its dramatic cliffs, famous for its acrobatic divers, sunsets and hip bars. The resort's pool bar pours fresh tropical libations and the restaurant offers tempting dishes, including lobster, in a charming open-air setting. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance.

Highlights
  • Prime location on Seven Mile Beach
  • Near Negril's famous cliffs
  • Short walk to shopping, restaurants
  • Charming restaurant, beach bar
Rooms

The condominiums and studios occupy low-rise structures just steps from the stunning white-sand Seven Mile Beach. Guests of the Negril Beach Club Resort choose from three room categories -- studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. Studios have king or two double beds, fully-equipped kitchenettes and balconies overlooking pool and gardens. Apartments have living rooms and kitchens. All include air conditioning and TV.

Features

Negril Beach Club Resort guests gravitate to Jamaica's most popular beach for relaxation and recreation. Water sports such as windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, deep sea fishing and parasailing are available nearby. Next door to the resort is the Negril Scuba Centre, where guests arrange dive packages and certification at various levels. For more relaxing endeavors, lounge with a book or take a casual beach walk for people-watching. The hotel's rustic beach bar serves refreshing tropical cocktails and Red Stripes.

The Negril Beach Club Resort is ideally located between the beach and Negril's dramatic West End cliffs, home to the popular Rick's Café and its famous cliff divers. Parts of the James Bond film "Thunderball" were filmed at this dramatic location. The coves, caves and tide pools beneath the cliffs provide excellent swimming and snorkeling. Chic bars and restaurants built into the cliffs attract crowds for dazzling sunsets.

The resort is within walking distance to duty-free shops, boutiques, food stores, restaurants and a crafts market. For a memorable dining experience, enjoy a lobster dinner at the Negril Beach Club Resort's open-air restaurant, Lingah by the Sea.

suppose to be a family fun getaway

Let me tell you the truth people. I swear that they took a picture of somewhere nice and place it on the internet. I was fooled and yes you would be too. i walked into the room and the smell was killing. I think that they could have paint the walls change the blankets and do a better job with updating the furnitures, and cleaning the toiletts too. Wow i guess you get what you pay for. this place was a dump and need some assesment fast. not even a working phone in the room in case of an EME. no microwave, iron nothing.

Negril-Welcome Back

During our stay we visited friends, ate at several restaurants in the area, karaoke at Travelers, Thursday at The Jungle (ladies free), visited Treasure Beach, The Blue Hole and met some nice new people while walking and visiting the area. Saw great Jamaican Michael Jackson impersonator at Roots Bamboo as well as local Donnie single a couple songs and main attraction.

Restaurant at the hotel serves great breakfast. Would like a bigger vegetarian selection for lunch/dinner hours, but staff and food is delightful.

Make sure to take small bills with you and exchange for some of the Jamaica currency as well. The people deal with both types of currency and once you understand the exchange rate the better you are to make purchases.

Great place to relax!

If what you really want is the luxury of Sandals, this is not the place for you. But if you want to relax on a beautiful beach, in simple but clean accommodations, at an unbeatable price, I don't know how you could do better. There were small things wrong - like the stove didn't work when we arrived - but they in no way detracted from our appreciation of a beautiful, friendly, low-key place. The staff are extremely friendly,l and concerned that each guest is having a good stay. I would gladly stay there again.

Don't use the taxi drivers who hang out on the steps of the hotel. They charge twice the going rate. Walk out through the gate, stick out your hand and bargain.

Comfortable and clean

NBCC Hotel rooms are comfortable and clean nothing fancy two double beds some rooms have a sofa or chair. Our first room t.v did not work ok with me but not for my 17 and 16. It's time for some remodeling but if your not looking for fluf it is cheap rates and right on the best beach. The waters where a little rough this time of the year but the beach was still great. the food a Lingah was great we had the Christmas buffet which was good made to order omeltes Im glad the resturant is new and improved because previously it was horrible food. there is always service with a smile we asked for a different room and got it no problem I was just there back in October so it always nice to bve remembered and the staff is good at that house keeping was very helpful my daughter needed alchol for a bite and she told her they kept some at the front desk they allowed her to use it. The pool attendent was good too asked about the jacuzzi not being hot and he got some one to come fix it before we left and he let us know when it was ready for us to use. Overall it's a 2* hotel but in great location if you want fancy stay at Grand Palladium..

DIS-SATISFIED STAY

Spent most of my time at the bar, the staff was great especially Bartender [...] and [...]..they made my stay tolerable. The food was great from the restaurant...especially breakfast. Great menu, great services. However, I will never recommend anyone to stay at that Pigs Sty...Front desk staff was great [...] and [...] tried their best to make me comfortable. My daughter and I had to wear sandals to the shower, afraid of the filth on the in the Bath and on the bathroon floor between the tiles. Ants swormed my toothpate in the bathroom, so everytime we use it we have to look it away. Mind you I paid a discounted rate of 40% off but even if the rate was $10 per night no one should be subjected to such filth and dirt. I am a Jamaican by birth and I ashamed to say this I will NEVER support that hotel as long I live.

Home away from home

Just steps from the beautiful seven mile beach! The staff was welcoming, friendly, and very acommadating. The lobby was cozy with internet access. There is a conveniant mini-mart right next to the lobby. I have found my favorite restaurant in the entire planet..."Lingah by the sea!" The food is superb, and the service excellent. Everyone in this environment is friendly. Town is walking distance away, and there is a Burger King and ATM machines there. At night I went out to stand on the beach, and always felt safe because there are 24 hour security men. To sum up, this is my vacation spot from now on!

"Lingah by the sea" is the best restaurant! The jerk fish is my favorite, along with the Lobster bisque, Lobster Thermador, Seafood Rundown, and Curry Goat. For breakfast, I enjoyed the Lingah omelet with hashbrowns. The pineapple juice is excellent too. The view is fantastic. This cozy little secret is an open restaurant right on the beach, so I sat facing the beautiful ocean every time.
