If you wanna see the island, go for it!
We were super happy to stay at legends beach resort. The hotel isn't a 5* hotel, but that's what made us happy! We hade a clean bed/ room and enjoyed our time at legends. the people are super nice and helpful. They realy take care of you. The beach is amazing. There are some anoying people at the peach, who are trying to sell things to you, but they are not alowed to enter the hotel beach and the stuff will take care of it :) Since we didn't booked a super luxery hotel, we traveld and spend time outside. I'd say we saw (in 7 days) more than many other people in two or more weeks! Thanks

Try the food on the street. especialy the food in that little restaurant about 3min towards negril on the right side of the road. He's an amazing cook!

Won't go there again.
The food was HORRIBLE. The amenities were deceiving. Some staff were very unfriendly but a special shout out goes to Jennifer, Donovan, Michael and Paul who were wonderful. I would not book through Cheap Tickets again either. When I booked I booked all inclusive and when I got there it was not and had to pay another $200 per person for it and then we didn't even eat there most of the time because the food was so bad. There were not hourly shuttles as listed and snorkeling wasn't free. And that's just the beginning......

A great location
Kuyaba was better but Legends was a better value. Since they are so close, I recommend staying at Legends but dining and drinking at Kuyaba unless you are planning on doing all-inclusive (I dont recommend because the food is so-so). The man that works on the beach is awesome, the woman at the front desk is great, the bartenders are rude

Clean rooms, great location, terrific value
We really enjoyed our recent stay. The staff was great, and the rooms were clean. The only issues we had were with the room towels - dirty towels are collected early in the morning, and then washed and returned to the rooms around 3 p.m., leaving us without towels and facecloths for showering for most of the day. If we'd known about this in advance, we would have brought a couple of colored towels and facecloths of our own. This was a relatively minor inconvenience, as is the fact that there was no in-room coffee, but aside from these things, everything about the hotel was great!

We loved the glass-bottom boat/snorkeling tour to Booby Key for $40 each, which included a delicious lobster lunch on the beach!

lovely hotel
For the discount holiday rate it is well worth the value. The front desk staff and groundsmen were always soo friendly and the dining staff was efficient. The rooms were clean, comfortable and safe. Just a wonderful time there!!!

Nice trip
Great friendly staff. Located in lively section of the beach and close to the shopping center. Food was average but it was an awesome deal for the price.

If you are not the type to party all night, save a few bucks and stay across the street on the garden side. It can get quite loud with all the music playing on the beach side.

Great time at Legends
My wife and I made a last minute decision to visit Negril and Legends. We were very pleased with our experience. The best part of the trip was the wonderful employees and their desire to make sure we had a great time. The food was excellent, rooms were clean and Beach location was good. We took the free shuttle to Samsara and had a great time there also. The atmosphere was more relaxing with spectacular views from the cliffs. The Pool bar serves excellent Jamaican food.

Breakfast was fantastic at the Hotel. We had dinner twice and enjoyed both meals. We also tried the restaurant next door (Kuyba) and had good dinner.
