A tax has been imposed by the city for stays beginning 1 October 2012, and will be collected directly at the property. The tax ranges from EUR 1 to EUR 5 per person, per night. The amount has been determined by the local administration, depends on the star rating of hotel and the season of travel. Staff were very helpful with tourist advice, assistance with a minor injury and allowing use of their computer for checking in for the return flight. Particularly nice touch was a small bottle of Prosecco and a note on my birthday. Only criticism would be the cramped breakfast seating and tables.

Short walk from hotel
Book your visit to St Mark's Basilica in advance of leaving home. It only costs one Euro each, and saves you queueing for two hours with no shade. You walk straight in!

Great location (once we found it!). Very comfortable room for two people, large bathroom, 24 hour friendly and helpful reception particularly valued after a tiny bit of snow delayed italian trains... Excellent reduced rates for last minute booking. Small crowded breakfast room but great food and coffee; fresh fruit salad was fabulous.

Great choice
Entrance to the hotel a bit difficult to find (hotel picture is from the other side of the block). For a tourist, location is excellent: the vaporetto from airport comes to Rialto stop, which is 3 minutes walk from the hotel (distance from San Marco is much longer). All interesting places as near as they can be! Staff very helpful and ready to serve - the short guidance with map while entering was very useful. Breakfast: not so luxurious but good start for the day. 24/7 service was an extra bonus. Minuses: No lobby or guest PC available (wlan is, if you can use that). Noise from the street was somewhat disturbing at the time when younger people come from restaurants on Friday and Saturday evenings after midnight.

Hôtel très agréable et bien situé
J'ai choisi cet hôtel pour son emplacement, il est effectivement idéal. À 3 minutes du Rialto ( pont et bateaux) et à 5 minutes de la place San Marco, dans une rue passante mais pas trop bruyante la nuit. Les chambres sont très agréables, la salle de bains toute neuve, le petit déjeuner très bon et le personnel très gentil et serviable. Je recommande cet hôtel sans problème.

sejour à l'annexe située à 2 pas de San marco
4 nuits passées dans une petite chambre carrelée au mobilier neuf donnant sur un petit patio sombre. Petit déjeuner médiocre en self service avec distributeur de café et de lait, viennoiseries industrielles.. pas de fraicheur apparente. .Les infusions dans la chambres n'ont pas été renouvelées. Accueil aimable du gérant Décalage entre le descriptif de l'hôtel lu sur internet et la réalité de l'annexe

Notation hotel San Lucas
Mon séjour dans cet hotel s'est très bien déroulé; personnel très accueillant ; emplacement excellent à 2mn du pont Rialto et 5mn de la place San Marco. Déjeuner excellent. La seule raison pour laquelle je n'ai pas mis excellent dans la notation globale est que notre chambre (n° 107) était bruyante; un ronronnement permanent d'un appareil électrique ( origine à déterminer) m'a gêner la nuit pour bien dormir. Je l'ai signalé à la personne de l'accueil le jour de mon départ; elle a semblé compréhensive. Voilà sinon super séjour avec mon épouse

Pour le budget, il est difficile de tenir avec un petit budget; toilettes publiques 1,50€ pour aller au WC; tour en gondole 80€ une demi heure; excursion par bateau Murano/ Burano 32€ par personne l'aller/ retour; 32€ aller/retour aéroport /Venise /aéroport + repas aux restaurants + entrées aux musées etc... ça défile très vite; c'est pour cela que le séjour doit être relativement court.
