A tax has been imposed by the city for stays beginning 1 October 2012, and will be collected directly at the property. The tax ranges from EUR 1 to EUR 5 per person, per night. Little gem
Perfect place for and overnight stay in Venice. Close to train station and vaporetto to Murano. Very kind and friendly staff. Small bedroom, but it even has a fridge. Good continental breakfast buffet.

A friendly family run hotel well
A friendly family run hotel well located abround ten minutes walk from Santa Lucia Railway Station. No lift in this property, so be ready for stairs to your room. Clean bathroom. Quaint breakfast area and breakfast served. Our second time here and would return again.

Location was great as it was 5 minutes from the Stazione & still good to get to things. Great service with friendly & helpful staff - good suggestion for getting to see Murano/Burano/Torcello. Good sized room. Internet was a bit expensive but didn't need to use it so didn't bother to pay for it. Good basic breakfast - well adequate for a good start to the day.

Out of the way location
Staff tried in every way to be helpful, even helped carry luggage up two flights of stairs. Lovely, quaint breakfast room/lounge. Don't come home late at night, streets are very dark and a long way from activity.

My review of Hotel Hesperia
The staff was very helpful. The cleaniness was A+. There was no dining room, no pool, fitness or business center which was not value for the money. The location was near the transpiortation center, which was good.

hotel abordable bien placé dans la ville, station vaporetto proche pour se déplacer ainsi que pour aller sur les iles murano et burano. quartier tres commerçant pour ballade, shooping et restaurant, plus abordable qu'autour de st marc. personnel sympa et de plus parlant français.
