Venice hotel on Riva degli Schiavoni was once studio of famous sculptor
Renowned 16th century Mannerist sculptor Alessandro Vittoria once had his studio in what is now the Best Western Bisanzio Hotel Venice, which has been managed by the Venice family since 1969. Situated along the Riva degli Schiavoni just east of St. Mark's Square, the hotel looks out over beautiful St. Mark's Basin -- an inspiration for Vittoria and now for hotel guests -- and is within easy walking distance of most popular Venice landmarks. A recent restoration added modern amenities while preserving the building's ancient character.

Trip of a life time
we arrived by water taxi. The Service desk gentlemen where great! They helped us to our room after a 11hr travel. Gave us a map of where places to go and see. Also, helped us to keep safe with safety issues to keep in mind which where very helpful reminder. The Breakfast was just superb!!!! Authentic. I will be back....

Best Western Bisanzio- Venice Italy
Great location, clean comfortable room and nice breakfast.Smooth check in with accommodating front desk staff who helped with restaurant recommendations and reservation as well as arranging a water taxi to the cruise terminal.

Superior Service in a Fantastic Location
Hotel is nestled on a quiet street in the heart of Venice. Although we had a hard time finding it at first (The sign is engraved in the pavement of the main street before you get to the hotel), it was worth the wait. The hotel had unusually large rooms for a European hotel and the staff was exceptionally courteous & helpful. Definitely would stay there again.

In Hotel
Transportation in Venice is tricky. There are no streets passable by car close to the hotel. The public water taxi drops you off at the pier, but you have to cart your luggage up and down bridges (with no ramps). It got to be a standing joke to see all the tourists, like ourselves, carrying 2-3 suitcases over the bridges through throngs of other tourists. The hotel is also a little hard to find. If it's within your budget definitely spring for the private water taxi. It will save you a lot of aggravation.

Absolutely fantastic location
Absolutely fantastic location near Piazza San Marco. Charming furniture and very clean. My only issue is that reception turn off power if they think you have left the room (to save power) which makes sense if they have been given the room key, but it was quite inconvenient for the lights and power to suddenly turn off-when we were in the room.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, although it is a bit hard to find and could do with a sign at the end of the street from the grand canal. Brilliant service, great breakfast that was included in our rate, wonderful and clean room. Our room was tiny but from looking at the fire escape map on the back of our door our room was half the size of every other room on the 1st level...I think we just got unlucky. Very highly recommended!

Venice Best Western
Although the staff were very efficient, most of the them were stiff and unfriendly. The hotel was is a great location, very clean and well appointed. Breakfast buffet was good.

This is an excellent hotel in Venice. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and the rooms were very clean and well presented. The location is very good, it is very close to St Mark's square but the price does not reflect this - very reasonable for Venice. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again

Séjour à Venise
L'hôtel est bien placé à quelques mètres de la place San Marco. Pour un 3 étoiles il est bien équipé. Le personnel est super sympa, très accueillant et donne volontiers des conseils. Les chaînes de télévision sont uniquement italiennes. La chambre, armoire et tiroirs très propres.
