Amazing trip to Rome!

The hotel staff were fantastic. The location was close that we could walk to all the main sites in Rome. The room was a bit on the small side but it was very clean.

A wonderful experience!

I traveled to Rome by myself and this hotel was part of a package I picked. I couldn't have picked a better place to stay myself! This place was my home away from home for 10 days and it did feel like home. The front desk staff, Luca and Gianni, were always very pleasant, polite, and accommodating. They appreciated my attempts to speak Italian but graciously conversed with me in English. I was also there during Christmas and they made me feel so welcome! They made great recommendations and helped me navigate public transportation. The room was very nice and clean and I enjoyed the vishy shower! The in-room safe was very handy and even though I was next to the elevator it was pretty quiet! The maids, the bell men, the maintenance staff were all friendly. I will definitely go back for another stay! The hotel is close to so many things. I walked to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and the Termini station was a 20 minute walk as well! The hotel is in a great neighborhood (La Dolci Vita area) and close to Via Veneto which is a good area to explore and shop too! I highly recommend this place for value, hospitality, and location! Bravissimo!

Great place to stay in Rome!!!

Had a very comfortable stay while in Rome. Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of good restaurants close by. A 10 minute walk to Termini Station and very accessable to other attractions. Am planning to return to Rome next year and if there are vacancies this hotel will be my first choice. Staff very helpful with all kinds of requests.

spring break trip with my daughter

My daughter and I went for Spring Break. We were sight seeing most of time but would have loved having nicer accomadations to relax in. the room was small an located on a very busy loud street. we had to sleep with Ipods on with music to drown out street noise.Hotel was clean but does need to spruce up hallways.Location is great location to walk to sights if you enjoy walking. Breakfast was always good.

Beautiful

The hotel is in a nice location (VIa Venetto) is walking distance from the subway and it has a bus station one block from the hotel, so you can move very easy. Is near from the Pantheon, Fontana de Trevi and Spanish steps. Not all the staff is friendly and it could be cleaner.

Buy the transport ticket for 1 or 3 days, is cheaper that taking the tourist bus, and you get to every where

Veneto Roma Review

Check-in was a surprise in that our room was unavailable for the night of 28 Oct; however, the hotel staff did provide a taxi to and from another hotel of similar quality. Actually, that hotel, the Hotel White, we felt was a better hotel.

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

Don't stay in the Veneto part of town unless you are on a business trip. The problem is that the Veneto Roma is a long walk from most tourist attractions and too close to the train station to get an honest cab.

Nice view from the roof, comfy but pricy

Nice place recently redone, modern interiors, decent sized room for Rome (once we upgraded and paid more of course!), clean/nice bathrooms, a bit overpriced but that is Rome, hard to find places to eat in area thru the day, close walk to Via Veneto, some construction underway inside, very overpriced restaurant upstairs and staff unprepared for customers, pretty friendly reception staff, not far from Termini but take a cab, then walk around the area; not a bad stay for two nights, would recommend, but not extremely highly, very close to US embassy and Hard Rock Cafe for those of you interested

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

Don't eat in or near the hotel... overpriced though nice view from roof...also high prices on Via Veneto nearby but at least there you have a nice, interesting atmosphere
