Great Hotel
A very long way from the typical tourist spots. Also not too many places to dine around the hotel. However if just there for a night, try the hotel happy hour, you can easily make it a meal. Thus this is a REALLY good value.

The best hotel in Rome
The best hotel in Rome! The rooms are spotless and the bathroom even had a large bath tub!! The breakfast was huge and had fresh fruit too. The coffee was made fresh ,espresso, and all types of Italian American coffee. Teas of all types were avalable. Transportation to the hotel was very easy both bus and metro! !Walking was nice too!! Every night you were served fresh snacks by NIMs. Nims is an excellent cook and makes great cocktails too. One evening the owners sister made homemade Tarelli for the guest. The front desk staff were really helpful especally Giacomo!!! When it was time to depart We treated ourselves to the taxi service offered by the hotel and like everything else this was 1st class!!! I recommend Relais 6 110% can not wait to visit again and see all my new "friends" at Relais 6

Great place to stay.
Bus or metro to sights very convenient. Have hotel arrange private car to and from airport for deluxe transfers. They have the best breakfast buffet and snack/food at night. Both are complimentary. The rooftop lounge and exercise room are excellent. It is in a great neighborhood near shops and a nice church. We will definitely stay here again.

THE BEST HOTEL IN ROME! WE WANT TO COME BACK
This Hotel surpasses every expectation! The staff are the BEST in the business. Even though it is out of the center of the city, THAT'S What You should Get! This little paradise is quiet because it is out of the center and well worth the 10 minute bus trip on line 90 out of the city, and get off at the Via Gorizia (spelling?) stop and the hotel is just across the street and a small block away onto Via Tolmino. If you are looking for a quiet, confortible modern building this is it!!! they have private baths and air conditioning the Beds are like sleeping on air. The buffet breakfast is so large and has everything you could want. They will even make you one to go if you leave before the buffet opens. Thank You to all the Staff for and Exceptional Stay:)

If you are using the Bus system to get around town, make sure you study the maps and get a bus schedule asap. Watch out for bus 64 and the Metro at the colloseum, My husband's pockets were picked and the gentleman beside us too.. we caught the young girl and escorted her off the train.

lovely hotel! convenient and really friendly staff
The Relais 6 Hotel Rome was great, we only had 24 hours in Rome, and this was a great place to come back to at night. The staff was really friendly, gave us a map with specific site specific details and sold us tickets for public transit right at the front desk. We had 4 people and booked a room for 4, which was an apartment with 2 twin beds and a nice pull out couch. The bathroom was beautiful, with handpainted tiles. The room also had a balcony to sit out on. The breakfast was lovely as well, croissants, cheese, fresh fruit, eggs, and fresh coffee/cappuccino. The breakfast was easily a step above what we had received at other hotels, including some where we paid more than 3x what we paid for this hotel. Great value, would definitely stay here again. Biggest downside to this hotel, was finding it from the train station. Take the bus, #36 or # 84 from the train station.

Fabulous Visit
Hotel was perfect. Located enough out of the center of town to be a little quieter, but not so far that there were no services. There were several restaurants and grocery stores within a very short walking distance. It had snowed in Rome, for the first time in 25 years, during our visit. Museums, churches and transportation was limited during the extreme weather. This only added to our unique experience. During this time the staff was courteous and helpful.

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
There is a decent size heath food store very near the hotel. I found it on my last day there, and was disappointed that I had not discovered it earlier.

Certainly not a four star
Very small rooms, but quiet. Hotel is far from downtown, it takes at least 30 to 40mn, when you have buses, subway station is at 15mn by feet. Breakfast very ordinary, cheap products and everyday the same, table are as small as in a plane!!! and not enough for the hotel capacity, people have to wait for breakfast sometime 15mn to be placed.Anything you want in this hotel is not allowed by the direction (ex: have a drink in a glass in your room, only in plastic, put chocolate in your fridge is not permitted,.....). Choose it only for quiet, in low season.

Très bon rapport qualité prix
Hôtel chaleureux, personnel très sympathique ! J'y retourne sans problème! L'hôtel reste néanmoins a 4-5 stations de métro du centre de la ville ! Mais cela ne pose pas trop de problème.
