This is a very high standard deluxe hotel. The hotel has been awarded as best Hotel 2007 in Europe by Prix Villagiature. The building is of the late 1800's. This hotel is located in one of the most elegant areas in Rome, near to the green parks of Ludovisi, Borghese and Malta villas, between via Veneto and the Spanish Steps leading to the Trinita' dei Monti. It is only a short walk to the shopping area in via Condotti and in via Gregoriana.

too expensive for what you get

this is a very nice place that has good access to sights and shopping. That aside, we found it to be a little too expensive for what we were getting. For instance, the full breakfast will set you back 54 Euros a piece so be prepared

Outstanding! Bravissimo!

The hotel is in a great location as stated and is a real treasure. It is a very upscale area that feels safe for the family - we went walking late every night and there were lots of other folks out as well. The view from the restaurant was even better than described - one of the best of Rome. Very pricey, but try to spend at least a lunch there - it is well worth it. The views from the rooms was also very nice on the courtyard side facing Veneto. The staff was fantastic. Very helpful and friendly despite my poor Italian language skills. I saw other great hotels in this area, but would recommend and stay at Eden again!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Lots of little cafes and tratorrias nearby towards Veneto and also towards the Spanish steps.
