Good breakfast!

I expected something better. The bed and the pillows were not totally comfortable. Good location (not very nice area) and clean but the room was old fashion. Required to walls electrical plugs. The breakfast was really nice. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We are happy to return there

The hotel is located on a quiet, very nice street in the center of Rome. The room was very nice and clean, with private bathroom and air conditioning. Service friendly and competent. Buffet breakfast tasty and plentiful. Free access to the Internet in the room. Very good atmosphere in the hotel.

Roman stay

Disappointing stay, since air-conditioning did not work in the room, changing rooms the first night did not work, and we were finally moved to a Daniela sister hotel the next day. The sister hotel was mediocre, not that clean - ants in the room - but at least the air-conditioning worked.

Overall wonderful

This was a nice, relatively quiet hotel near the center of Rome. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and they all spoke very good English. The private parking in back was nice too, no worries about your car through the night. We came down at the tail end of the breakfast, but even then there was plenty to choose from of the typical Italian breakfast of pastries and various meats and cheeses. My one and only complaint would be about the showers in our rooms- the water was either boiling hot or freezing cold, and fluctuated even if the dial wasn't touched. Other than that everything was perfect! Much nicer than a lot of other hotels we've stayed at in Rome, and especially for the price

Quiet getaway

Lovely hotel, great for using as a base. Break fast was really nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful, always asking if everthing was OK. This hotel has got so much potential, if only the owners would get their act together. Yes the hotel is in a very nice street but the hotel needs to be kept to that certain standard. It has the potential of being a 4 star if ; a) Coffee/Tea facilities were put in rooms, b) TV was updated, c) My room, headboards were loose, not connected at all.d) Walls in corridor were cleared of heavy scuff marks. e) Roof top terrace could be a little gem for this hotel if only it was furnished correctly.

Quiet New Year's Eve In Rome

The hotel is right off the Manzoni metro stop and within a few minutes walk of the Coliseum and Forum. Great location! This small hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood where I had never been before. When we checked in, the front desk attendant was really nice and helpful and spoke great English. (Others on the staff did not). The room was overheated with no thermostat and the hot water in the shower had no control either. There are no international TV channels. We were only there for the night and left for the airport at 6:00 am so I cannot comment on the breakfast that is included.

There are many quaint, family-style restaurants near the Coliseum where the staffs speak excellent English and tourists feel comfortable. Check them out!

Nice Price in Roma

Room was clean and had "normal" size bathroom by U.S. standards. Staff was friendly and helpful. Quiet neighborhood that was safe to walk around at night. Several good restaurants three blocks away. Good breakfast in the morning.
