europe for two months
exactly what you need, not much that you would want
I had a good one night stay at this hotel by myself. It was easier to find and I had two large suitcases that I carried with me from Milan centrale to the hotel with no problem. It's just 4-5 blocks away from the station. I just needed a hotel for one night and it was perfect. The room was small, but plenty of storage, and the bathroom was large. I was pleasantly surprised to find a 4 x 5 balcony off of the room. And, most importantly for me, internet was free. That's a big plus in my book. But don't expect extras. Also, it was just a single bed for one person.

Short walk from hotel
Can't remember the name, but if you go out the hotel and turn left, go to the end of the street, then one more block and take a left. You should be walking into the side of the train station. On your left, there's an italian restaurant. GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE.

Worst experience ever!
The worst experience at a hotel. I had an emergency and I was trying to make a phone call. I asked the guy at the reception for help several times, he went upstarirs to check the phone. He only checked the line, I knew the line was working, the problem was to make phone calls. I went downstairs to use the phone. When I was in the middle of the call he yelled at me becuase that phone was only to call the rooms. The way he treated me was unacceptable. He never asked what was my situation or what I needed so bad to make a phone call.

good value,good location,
hotel was clean and neat,internet was free for first half hour,breakfast at 10 euro a bit much,though the food was good,no info about trams or buses,enjoyed my stay in terminal +milan,central station was so near,so all europe was available,day trips to bergamo etc no problem

Great place were to stay if travelling
Great place were to stay if travelling without car because it is near to central station and very convinient to reach city center by tram or just to walk. Good and nice hotel for really good price.

No problems here
Very convenient location for economical travel by train. Close to station; pleasant staff with adequate English for communication; clean room; good coffee; great cold breakfast; resturants close by. Very international clientele. This neighborhood is NOT a problem. We are 60 and felt very comfortable here.
