Safe oasis from busy Hong Kong

Club Suite 80

I stayed in a club suite, at checkin I was taken to above and beyond for a private checkin. The room was amazing with fresh fruit and a welcome card! The hotel also has a shuttle bus that makes trips downtown every 20 minutes.

Best hotel in HK

A coworker actually recommended this hotel because of the rooftop pool. This hotel is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. A few great perks: 1. Handy Smart phone provided by hotel for the duration of your stay that allows you unlimited international and local calls and internet access 2. TV in the bathtub ;) 3. Amazing view of Hong Kong island from the gym 4. Rooftop pool My only compliant would be the taxi service. I had to travel to the other side daily for work and cabs do not want to take the tunnel because of peak time traffic.

Iconic- for others to aspire to

My room on the 18th floor was spotlessly clean and immaculate, with a stunning floor-ceiling view of the Harbour. The bed was both enormous and superbly comfortable, the bathroom stylish and the swivel chair a miracle of design. Lighting was top quality and varied, enabling exactly the right light to match your mood. And the 9th floor pool facilities were great (just a slight disappointment to be closed for part of my stay for annual maintenance - hence the 4*). Above all, I would identify the staff behaviour and service ethic to be simply outstanding. I'd never stay anywhere else in HK now.

HK's secret 5 star hotel

If you want the famous Mandarin or Peninsula experience without the overpricing, Icon is the hotel for you. Make sure to get the Club rooms, half the price with the same if not better views; and the staff don't act like they're too posh for you. Definitely coming back here!

You can't go wrong!

The room was lovely, the views great, the amenities were wonderful, the staff was fabulous. Definitely book a room on a Club floor -- totally worthwhile, from tea available whenever, to afternoon tea, to a drink in the early evening, plus the staff was amazing.
