Three Star Hotel
This is a Three Star hotel, not a Four. Our room was small, even by Paris standards, such that the two of us could not walk around at the same time. The room had all the basics but nothing extraordinary that would warrant a fourth star. A coffee maker in the room would have been nice since there are no complementary refreshments in the hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous. The lobby is comfortable but could use more informational materials. The biggest plus for us was the location just outside the Latin Quarter. A one block walk to the Metro put all of Paris within convenient reach, and there were bakeries, markets and restaurants within a five-minute walk.

Mr H
so so
The hotel was ok and location was ok. But for a 4* you expect much more. The double bed was just 2 singles pushed together. There was no iron in room and had to go into the conference room to use the communal iron and board. There was no kettle or tea and coffee making facilities. The décor was shabby around the skirting boards the paint was flaking away. To top it of when you think paid everything the hotel charges you "City Tax" adding an extra 10.40 euros for a 3 night stay. Which was failed to mention.

I have just returned from a two night stay at Villa Lutece Port Royal with my wife, we had the pleasure of staying in the 121 - which was light, bright and clean! The room had a large, comfy bed, a well appointed bathroom with jacuzzi bath which did not work. The hotel staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. The hotel is located close to the three metro stations. I would recommend this hotel to any young couple traveling to Paris - Enjoy!!

Good basic hotel
Good overall hotel in east central Paris. Great commuter links and convenience stores 2 mins walk away. pros: location, price, breakfast, mod cons cons: only one english tv channel - cnn, no free tea/coffee in room, back of hotel overlooks bland misc buildings and a playground full of screaming kids from 9am - mid afternoon.

Quiet retreat
The staff we encountered here were so kind and helpful. The breakfast room was charming and the coffee outrageous! The hotel is away from all the hubbub of Paris but in walking distance to the Seine, Ile de la Cite and the Metro is around the corner. Our room was clean, but in need of some repair and updating. There was only one window, so it was warm during the day. There is a large homeless contingent that congregates on the main Boulevard, but we weren't bothered at all. All in all, we had a very pleasnt stay!

Close to Paris Metro
The room is small & bed is narrow too. It lacks sufficient lighting, and feel dark in the evening.

Met minimum standards
The Orbitz experience was excellent. No problems. The hotel was good, BUT it is not a four star hotel as they advertise. It is a three starr. It shows wear and I fixed a couple small items. The staff was usually very helpful. The breakfast at 14.50 euro is very poor and the one hot egg dish tasted bad to us. The glasses of wine we purchased one night were sour. I've had better free breakfasts. I would try a different hotel next time. Thanks for asking.

Long walk from hotel
La Cambuse north of Odeum on 8 rue Casmir Delavigne. Street is not on some maps. Excellent food at reasonable price for 24 years. Also Au Bon Coin about 1/2 mile
