Timhotel Tour Montparnasse

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Everything was really good... lovely atmosphere, nice rooms, good breakfast, great location. The only little thing about the hotel was that we had 2 single beds pushed together, rather than a double bed.. so if booking, I would clarify what you want. Everything else was great. The little jazz/cocktail bar on the street was great too!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Staff was great. Location was great. A great place to embark to all areas of the city. Plenty of cafes in the immediate area, just a short walk away. Room small, but very comfortable.

Very nice room (thin walls), excellent location- close to metro stations and within walking distance of many tourist interest sites.

it was a great location!! right in the middle of everything! short walk to the louvre and eiffel tower!! room was beautiful and clean! would definitely recommend it!!

This hotel is located right in the heart of Montpanasse, with Metro stations at either end of the street and 5 mins away from the cemetery and Montpanasse Tower. Room small but very clean with TV coffee making facilaties and clean bathroom. The staff were very helpful and all spoke English. Only gripe was that there did not seem to be hot water at night otherwise highly recommended.

Really, negative experiences of temperature and heat were enough to eclipse any positives the hotel may have had. Winter in Paris, it's 4 degrees Celsius outside. The bathroom in the hotel - with the window closed - couldn't be more than 6 degrees. Keep the door closed and the hairdryer on if you want to go in there, noisy though. The heating in the main part of the room did not work at all. We asked for a radiator which they provided. Still, that did not warm the room enough. No extra covers in the room either. To make matters worse, the shower was cold, well lukewarm. Over the 3 night stay, around 3 out of 5 times I used it, it was cold. Okay, on the Monday it was thankfully warm again but expect cold showers on the weekend. Only 1 functioning power point, remember your double adapters people.. Breakfast otherwise friendly etc..

Clear air, no any kind of smokes, no drunk people, staff were friendly and breakfast very good. Whole hotel was quiet place to rest and sleep. Only negative point was the room was cold when we arrive. Some like that, but we put more degrees and the room get warm. Lifts (2) were good. TV-channels were good. The electric kettle was a nice surprise in a room! Maybe some info for using the computer was missing, but we didn't ask the stuff. (We have internet in mobile.) Location was extremely good.

Upon arrival, we could not check in until almost 3pm, Then we had ordered a full size bed, but we had 2 twin beds held together by a sheet-not good, We were able to change the following night, had to check out then in again. Even with the link to sign on for free wifi, was not able to the entire stay. They need to check up on this, Not happy about that at all.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights late August. We arrived in the evening and the friendly guy on the desk addressed us by name as we walked up to him!! The hotel was friendly, comfortable and the room although small was perfectly adequate as we only went back there late in the evening after spending all day around Paris. A good sized shower room too. Each room is named after an artist and a large ''painting'' over the bed acts as a bedhead. We were in a Degas room...delightful!! and had a balcony which overlooked the busy, lively french street .....so woken up each morning by garbage trucks but it was time to get up anyway. Coffee and tea making facilities and biscuits in the room. We took breakfast in the hotel on the first morning (13 euros each) a buffet selection but nothing special, so decided we preferred to try out nearby street cafes instead for a fraction of that price; The location of this hotel is excellent with 3 metro stations to choose from and Gare Montparnasse at the end of the street. In the evening lots of people sitting out at cafes and restaurants, next to theatres, cinemas, a Gallery Lafayette and Montparnasse Tower. Round the corner from Montparnasse Cemetry..worth a visit.. and a local street market on Thursdays. Would stay there again next visit to Paris.

the airco functioned fine which is a bonus for a Paris hotel!
