Intimate Paris hotel in the 10th arrondissement embraces Art Deco style

Pavillon Republique Les Halles, a boutique hotel in the 10th arrondissement, favors Art Deco touches in a boutique setting. Rooms utilize floral prints and curved furniture to create a cheerful ambiance. The hotel is little more than a mile from major tourist destinations such as the Louvre and Notre Dame, but access to the North and East train stations makes it easy to get around the city. A vaulted breakfast room charms with exposed brick walls and baskets bearing morning treats.

Averange, basic, simple - but gets the job done.

Stayed here for 3 nights with girlfriend - typical trip to Paris. A metro station is right outside the hotel, so that was very useful. Not that close to the main tourist area (Eiffel Tower/Arc/Louve - but not far enough away to make it difficult to get to. Staff are there 24/7 to let you in if you come back late which was handy. There is a nice bakery the other side of the busy road which will make a nice cheese and ham baguette on demand. The room was small and out dated + the shower didn't work so we had to take baths each morning but we managed and there were no major issues. FOR COUPLES WHO WANT A DOUBLE BED: When checking in we were asked if we wanted two singles or a "big bed" so this option should be available to you unless you visit during very busy days. Overall, a simple stay with no issues. (Breakfast is 8€ but we did not have this during our stay)

When visiting the Louve - get there by Metro - this way you will enter the underground entrance directly and when we visited we did not queue at all. (Arrived there at 9:30 and used the ticket machine in the main foyer area)

hotel in paris

Close to train station (gard l'est & gard nord). Easy to walk to Louvre, Notre Dame. Eiffel Tower is a far walk. Easy to get to/from airport (CDG). Area is so-so. While we felt safe, it is close to some run-down areas. Room was tiny. You get what you pay for. Plenty of restaurants nearby but all require some walking to get to. I do not think that we would stay here again but I had no complaints for the price we paid. Not a place to stay with kids unless you expect to train/subway everywhere. They will get exhausted due to the high amount of walking.

Very good for the price

The staff was great, always helpful. The breakfast was handy and very pleasant. It was easy to use the metro to get to the places we wanted to go. This is not a fancy place but very clean. It is my kind of place because I can save my money to do other things.

So So

Not a particularly a bad or good hotel. Small wrongs were righted promptly (like being given the key to a room only to walk in and realize that someone was already staying there). Pretty typical Parisian hotel but three stars may be a bit of a stretch. Broken shower, no soaps but other than that it sufficed. Will look elsewhere next time.

Hello I come from Denmark and

Hello I come from Denmark and have been to Paris many times before. Must say that this hotel is the worst I have stayed at. Room smelled of mildew, the towels were dirty, hair dryer did not work, everything elektiske was in poor condition. The wireless network only worked in recetioen. there was no mini bar as promised. safty box was not in the room as promised. So this is the last time I take this property. The hotel has 3 stars, I would say that it should only have 1 star.

Access to the subway is terrific

I agree that this hotel can hardly be considered as a "three-star" one. My room and the lobby were very small (even smaller than those tiny but cheap hotels in Tokyo), and there was no access on the internet in the room. You need to go downstairs in the lobby in order to hook on their free WiFi. But the location is really good(right next to the entrance of the line 5), and the fair is very competitive. In general, if you plan to look around in Paris by metro, this hotel is a not bad choice.

Great Location, Nice Staff, Bad Rooms

Unfortunately the rooms were not that of a 3 star Hotel. Furthermore, there is no ventilation in the bathrooms and the bathroom smell (which is perennial) makes its way to the sleeping quarters, facilitated by the old sliding doors that dont close all the way.
